Cinnamon Gate is my go-to spot for amazing Sri Lankan food! This buffet has a great variety, and everything tastes so authentic and delicious.nI wanted to talk to the chef because the curries there are super flavourful, and the hoppers are always a hit. Yum!nnWhat really stands out, though, is the staff – they’re incredibly friendly and make you feel like part of the family. They’re always happy to help with recommendations and ensure you’re having a great time.nnIt’s a cozy place that’s perfect for hanging out with friends or family. I recommended it to my friends, and now they love it just as much as I do. Definitely try the chicken curry and kottu roti – they're our favorites. Highly recommend.
Well I came to Melb from QLD and wanted to try some SL dishes. I was surprised by the rice and curries that they have to offer. It is been few years left SL and I’d say this is the best meal I’ve ever had in Aussie. You guys need to try their foods and they are so yum. Will be back soon to try more foods.
First this place have a tricky menu. Got fried rice for $22.5 dollars. They gave me only the rice. If i want a devil chicken i have to pay extra 2 dollars. How should a customer knew it unless told. Of course anyone will pay extra 2 for the curry. This is very stupid menu and a rip off. Never visiting this place again.
Its a simple buffet with Colombo vibes. When we went for lunch they had three different fried rice options. Plain white rice. Two meat options and four veg cuuries. The food was tasty just not much of a variety. They had a sign that read 1 plate per person. Not sure what that meant.
I highly do not recommend their food because it is excessively oily and greasy. The person who prepared the food does not seem to have the necessary culinary skills. I was extremely disappointed. Can you please prepare food that anyone can enjoy? It's not worth buying their foods. Front staff lacks customer service skills. We will not return.
