great staff here - very friendly and helpful. love the vibe, and the seats of theater inside are pretty awesome.
This is one of the last cinemas the last cinema? in Perth CBD. With $19 adult tickets and the rudest staff I've ever encountered at *any* cinema I've been to anywhere in the world, I kind of hope they implode too. The seats are very comfortable and, when the cinema shuts, would be worth buying for a home cinema setup.
Cute little theatre but seats really need an upgrade - went to a 2 hour film here the other night and about half through my butt was numb and I was wriggling around trying to get comfortable for the remainder - the recline style is terrible push your body weight back and it still doesn't stay back and it's far too upright. Other than that, nicely maintained, clean, nice staff.
Love this Cinema the seats are so very comfortable and the fact that most of their items are not over priced as well. Makes this a great venue. They have fabulous movies that are not shown in other cinemas.
Was pleased to see on my last visit that the cinemas have been renovated with comfortable, roomy seats!
I love opportunity to see Independent cinema. Nice staff. Discounts on Tuesday. Snacks however on the expensive side... but that's standard in Perth cinemas unfortunately. There are a couple of very small screens here so if you like the big screen, it's smart to call and ask. I've been going here forever. You can grab a wine if you fancy one. Nice spot for a movie after work. Plenty of restaurants nearby as its in Northbridge. Free parking in nearby streets from 6pm.

Lovely cinema, and amazing cultural events. You can have a taste of world cinema thanks to the many film festivals. We loved the French and the Spanish film festivals, now looking forward to more. Special nights are always nice.
Not a bad venue. But not having allocated seats makes it like a luck of the draw.... Bad star rating simply because we ended up on the first row, which ended up in neck ouchies... Otherwise I'd give a higher rating....
My very fav cinema on Earth, and I've been all over the world. I'll tell you why: First off I have a Luna Privilege Card so it's way cheaper to buy tickets. And then there is the adorable depths to the mystic cinema itself. And then we will talk about the extremely quirky humans that work there. They are all truly fanatic, and remind me of people who would be in a movie about people who work at a cinema. I enjoy every single trip here, even sometimes when my film of choice wasn't great. They have wonderful film festivals and the special events to go with them are gems. The ultimate date location. The only downside is some of the cinemas have older sometimes wobbly or partly broken chairs. But as films are not full very often you can just change seats.
