Cibo has a really good interior and friendly staff! We tried their strawberry tart with a hot chocolate and latte and they were all really good! Would love to try their other desserts x
While I agree that the poor reviews were valid at the time I now am happy to say things have improved. I've been here now about a dozen times and I'm happy with the coffee and the service. Keep up the good work guys .
Genuinely surprised at the time it took to get a coffee when the place was not even half full. Staff look like they'd rather be doing something else. You can see 4 other cafes from Cibo, just go to one of them. When the coffee finally arrived it was bland as hell, too.
Arrogant staff. The barista needs more time learning how to make coffee in general. You can straight away feel that everyone wearing an apron can't wait to finish their shifts. It's a shame because Cibo's has a solid rep in SA.
Totally agreed what other review said. Took forever to make one coffee incredibly slow speed. 2 person standing in front of coffee machine and still super slow.
Coffee is average but nicely presented, however the cakes & biscuits are lovely and yummy, with a good range too.
Toasties were nice and so were the fruit bread, banana bread was also good. Like the reviewers coffees and mochas were watery and weak and for min $4 for the small size cup, it wasn't worth it. 2 stars given here are simply for the food only.
Bought 2 biscuots took them 30 minutes to put in a bag and hand them to me, they tasted good, pity about the service
My experience is consistent with the other reviewers: Unmotivated staff, watery coffee and slow service. Go two stores down to Jasper Coffee instead.
