Awesome collection of plants..loved the succulents,varieties that I hadn't seen before. Perfect place for NATURE, PLANT LOVERS!! Great landscape with swimming pool for kids and cafes...close to the museum too.

Only had time for a quick visit. I was amazed at the large variety of roses. Well sheltered from the wind. Noticed some nice seating areas tucked away within the surrounding hedges. Immaculately tended grass paths. No weeds. Roses well labelled.

It's such a Beautiful place. Very peaceful with many interesting varieties of gardens. The river, the ducks, the cafe, the huge old trees and spectacular flower beds are wonderful for the soul.

Love it. A must go for me every summer and atleast once a man nth throughout the year as a north Canterbury local I love driving in and the free parking near the playground and rivers.

One of my favorite places in Christchurch. The whole Hagley Park is a great place for spending time in a beautiful setting and the Botanical Garden is the crown jewel in this environment. The rose garden is a must to visit specially when all the roses have been blooming.

Loved this visit to Hagley Park. Beautiful  and well kept gardens and walkways.   Calming atmosphere walking through this historic park even though it was busy. How lucky Christchurch is to have this beauty spot.

Amazing place to go to take pictures, or even just have a good walk. Mostly sheltered from any wind.

Peaceful  Relaxing  Recommended for a stroll and to share some quality time with self, friends, and or family...
