Very cool collection of modern and traditional art. Some of it was a bit weird for my tastes but that's the art world I guess. I also enjoyed the smattering of exhibits outside the building as well. The cherry on the top of the whole visit. The only downside was that we didn't have more time to browse the collections here.

Nice range of exhibits which refreshes frequently. Has a conveniently built-in underground parking managed by the Christchurch City Council. Sometimes the ground floor is converted into an events venue for the evening. Very classy place for those who love arts.

I absolutely loved this art gallery. It had everything i needed and wanted. Especially a lot of modern art which i very much appreciate. But there was also some nice renaissance pictures. I would definitely encourage you to go there and have a visit, plus it s free so no reason not to.

Christchurch Art Gallery is good place to be around. It has a gallery tour guides, who gives you tons of information and knowledge about the things in gallery. It has a refreshment area as well where you can have light refreshments. I think it's good place for each age group of people

Great range of art in a stunning building and the restaurant/cafe on site is pretty great as well. The whole build has a morden artistic feel which is really uplifting compared to some art gallery's. A must visit in Christchurch.
