Our Cathedral dominates the skyline, gathering visitors, pilgrims and tourists to enjoy its splendid architecture, music, worship & art - it houses Newcastle's principal War Memorial & memorabilia.

Story

Newcastle Cathedral is open for worship every day. Visitors are always welcome.

7:00am Eucharist (1662 Rite)
8:00am Eucharist
9:30am Solemn Eucharist (choral service)
6:00pm Choral Evensong

Our informal Family Service is held every Saturday at 5:00pm

Had a great Christmas eve at the Cathedral remembering the real reason for the season! Jesus Christ is born!
Very beautiful church. The mass was amazing. The music was brilliant and you truly get a good feeling while being in the church. Also the people at the church are so caring and kind. Really one must come to and be a part of this church.
Had a lovely time visiting the church. Quite beautiful inside. A lot of stained glass to admire. The gift shop was selling some locally made jams, which we purchased. A lot of interesting history to explore.
This Church was built long time ago and it has everything: the spirit, the architecture and the decoration of garden and the views around it. We spend more than one hour here to explore and take so many pictures. Many things were you would like to keep after a visit as if a precious access for your travel memories
Beautiful church. You can go inside and see the church. When the weather is good you can go to the beach tower. The bells ring at noon each day
This gorgeous cathedral was built by convicts in 1818. Definitely worth the visit.
Very Beautiful Church. Well worth the visit. Even if you are not religious, the building is an incredible marvel. The size will astound you.
