The place is nice and cozy. Love the interiors. And the gelato corner.. On the other note, some of the tables are a bit dirty though. Crumbs everywhere As for the food they are delectable. Just not have the wow factor in my opinion. As for ordering, we used the app and service was fast.
The Spanish hot chocolate was really good. The san churro cake and ice cream just did not do it for us. Service was quite slow but the staff were pleasant and very apologetic. Toilets were quite dirty. Lots of place to sit.
Great place for a catch up or dessert. Nice treats, drinks and ice cream. Sam Churros has had the same layout and deco for quite a while now it seems a bit outdated and could be improved. The menu has also been the same for a long time with only very minor changes. Items are also a bit overpriced for what you get. But that’s what you get when you buying chocolate.

I applied for a job here and got a call back from the manager who seemed keen to interview me at first. Then asked about my personal life, when I explained that I was looking for an evening weekend job as I am a stay at home mum during the day. He then asked me “who was going to look after the baby if I was to come into work?” A very personal and irrelevant question if you ask me. After the call I never heard from him again.
I usually don’t complain when it comes to San Churros but on my most recent visit I had ordered 2 DIY Sundaes and a Choco Loco. Unfortunately by the time we received the Sundaes, they were melted and not presented very well which was super disappointing for my younger sisters. My Choco Loco milkshake was ordered with full cream milk but it had a funny taste like it was off or they gave me the wrong milk. Usually when I visit there are no issues… I’m not too sure what happened here but we were extremely dissatisfied with the overall quality of our food/drinks at this visit.
When you have great staff and good offerings, it's a winning combination. Café San Churros has a wonderful person in April and her warmth and charm overrides any small failings. Her customer service is amazing..! The snacks are enjoyable, though a little pricey for what they are. The churros are hit and miss. I can say that being Spanish. It's meant to be crunchy outside but soft and fluffy inside. Theirs are so thin the inside ends up overcooked. Overall, these kind of things can be overlooked as long as the service is level April.
I’m not a local however this San Churro had great service and it was quick to get food. They also gave me a chocolate square with my coffee - my local shop doesn’t give them out anymore
San Churro Erina Fair is a must-go dessert destination for Central Coast locals. The service is amazing, special thanks to Sean and the team for making our experience memorable!
Yesterday I had the mango smoothie and churros for one with cookie butter dip, was delicious I'm so sorry you had to deal with that lady having a whinge about not getting an ice cream sample! hospo workers deal with many interesting creatures....
