Want to catch a ferry here? it is, after all, a ferry wharf. Not on a weekend or public holiday you won't, if the weather's nice. Despite all logic Sydney Ferries operate a reduced schedule on weekends and public holidays - when demand is at its highest. By the time the ferries arrive at this part of the river they're always full and you'll have the pleasure of watching them sail on by. If you're lucky, you may get an announcement over the PA, but even that's unreliable.

I have to give this wharf an excellent rating! I didn't have any trouble going through and catching a ferry, and it was my very first time in Sydney.It was very clear where I was supposed to go and what I was supposed to do to get on the ferry. In addition, I appreciated that there was seating available for when I waited for the ferry to arrive!
Old wharf style. A little exposed in bad weather and a bit of a walk but at least it has a service
Nice quiet place, another hidden gem of the bayside. Bath area, toilets, BBQ. Love to take the rising full moon over the Gladesville bridge. Thats the shot!!!
Great ferries in Sydney
Small but good place. No staff of NSW ttansport at the wharf. May be because it was weekend. But still one should be there.
