Ordered from here loads of times over the years and it's always amazing!  Never had a bad thing from the place.  Just like the good old fish n chips shops from when we were kids, barramundi and red emperor was perfect, potato scallops awesome, chips are a massive serving and the oysters were perfect!  Delicious!  All these people that complain, most have ordered through menu log or some other third party, order directly through their website, we have over the last 3 years and every order has been spot on and the food excellent

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS USELESS  FISH AND CHIP SHOP!  We have ordered from here numerous times and without fail the order is always screwed up. There are always items missing from the order, one time it was all the fish considering its a fish and chip shop, you would think they would remember to put the fish in! I always ring to speak to the shop but I'm pretty sure this place is being run by children. I asked when the owner is in so I can speak to them but the answer is they never come in! Not helpful at all and never do they offer to fix the issue.  After giving them numerous chances we will never order from Chippy's Carramar again as they are just money thieves. I would never recommend this business to anyone, you are better off going to McDonald's for a fillet-o-fish!!!

Have had plenty of great experiences! Mostly teenagers working behind the counter, people seem to forget that when they complain and talk down to them. Do need a bit more guidance or a manager on staff for sure to deal with peak times and busy periods Wait time always says 30 mins online but during peak times make sure to take into count they are extremely busy. Can be a very long wait but Still good food and lovely girls doing the best they can

Placed an order for chips. Waited 30mins still no chips asked how long told 6mins. Now waiting for 40mins asked again how long was told order nowhere near being next. People behind counter were too busy socialising and standing around doing nothing while only a couple were actually doing any work and with each order there seemed to be a lot of confusion even telling a customer that her order was not received through menu log and took the customer to point out the order to the 3 staff members looking at the screen. Requested a refund went and got alternative chips elsewhere and was served and given the order within minutes. I understand a Friday evening is busy at the fish and chippy however the utter lack of coordination was disgusting and very disappointed

It is so weird, I have seen other reviews on here with shocking photos and poor write ups. I myself have never had a bad meal here. My go to order is a chicken Burger with sweet chilli and mayo, small chips, crab stick and a dim sim, so maybe I am lucky with what I chose?  Chips have always been crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and well seasoned. Can't really get a deepfried crab stick or dim sim wrong. The chicken burger has been my standard order since I was 13 ordering from the Butler shop!

Giving this pace 3 stars. Service is average. Times give are always a good 10min late. Been here a good 10 times and it hasn't changed. Hit and miss with the food. Not much consistency.Worth going to Ashby or banksia Grove . Sorry but I will not be back given the other options in the area

Have been eating here for 10 years and the food is slowly becoming worse and worse.  Ordered a chicken burger with no cheese and fish and  chips.  The fact the burger came with cheese was the least of our worries. The fish had batter missing from it and was extremely overcooked and stale. The chicken burger was like boot leather and upon waiting for it to be made the girl behind the counter reheated the chicken a deep fried chicken burger on the hot plate.  What a waste of time and money. I warn you, do not eat here as you will be disappointed especially as there as some many other Chippys in our area.

Absolutely disgusting, spent over $40 last night, fish was off, it was yellow inside and smelt terrible Sea scallops not much better, even dig wouldn't eat them. I have been sick ever since Plus very over cooked and just bad Get your act together guys before the health inspectors close you down, or you get sued.

Last week I ordered a piece of battered whiting and chips - instead of a nice chunky fillet I got 9x overcooked, crumbed, processed fish nugget things. I had missed a call from the store in regards to this and later emailed them to which they said they had a problem with their supplier so I let it go thinking alright, I missed their call and the supplier issue isn't their fault. All good.  Tonight I ordered the same and kept my phone on me in case there was a whiting emergency. No phone call so I assumed everything was going to be as expected but when I opened the pizza box yes - pizza box sweet baby jesus those nasty little processed overcooked fish nuggets stared back at me. This time I didn't receive a phone call though which if I had, I would have declined this so called fish and opted for something else.  In all seriousness though, if someone orders and pays for a fillet of fish, they expect a fillet of fish. You should, out of good will, give them a fillet of another kind if you're out of the one they ordered. We will not be buying from here again.

They never get the order right, always something missing or they've salted the chips when I specifically said no salt. Recently the chips have changed and they taste just awful, either cremated or raw. It was great when I first started going there almost a year ago, but has steadily gone down hill. It's a shame really.  I think it's time to find another chip shop.
