Up visiting from Melbourne- the food was great! Classic Mexican fast food at a great price! Big shout out to the lovely young lady Annabel! She was amazing and very chirpy made my day!
I had a great time at the Wintergarden GYG and had an amazing burrito, although I ordered a spicy one and the one I received most definitely wasn't. Still a great experience.
All the characteristics of a fast food outlet where the staff don't really care. They'll leave half their staff out back for twenty minutes while service builds up, bump the dozen orders that have accumulated to maintain the illusion of good service time to the franchise, then forget about half the orders they bumped. I probably recommend eating elsewhere on your break.
Long queue during lunch, the food was not so bad. I think mexican food is just not my style. However, i like how they cooked the chicken. Advice: order the mini one instead of regular because the portion is very bigFood: 3/5
These breakfast burritos taste good , but for $7.20 you would expect consistency with filling . I've ordered a few now so know what to expect, but have gradually noticed them getting smaller & smaller. This is only due to being under staffed and having alot of orders coming through at once . Also the staff are guessing when they make your burrito , as the restaurant doesn't weigh the ingredients, nor the end product to make sure you are buying value . The staff are friendly at the Wintergarden , and generally I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of the food overall . Constructive feedback !
Good Mexican food and burritos are one of my personal favourites. Really busy during lunch hours on weekdays, usually the wait time is between 15 to 20 minutes. The store is located in winter garden food court and is very popular among office guys working in the CBD. The staff is friendly and the service is good.Food: 5/5
How difficult it could be you guys put a display showing up ready orders?!?!? Much better than an employee screaming out all numbers…mainly on lunch time
I was really disappointed with my order today. My nachos has a tiny little hair on it and the avocado peel was mixed on to the guac. Also some parts of the guac were big slices. I love GYG but today is definitely a different story. I took photos of my food if you need it.
35min wait time. Lost my order twice after the manager promised that they were making it after 20 minutes had passed. No slow cooked beef or fries available. It would have been nice if this was clarified on the app before I ordered instead of the staff having to deal with this during lunch rush. The staff were friendly and trying their best, it was obvious that corporate is a CF.
Head to the Wintergarden, down the escalator and look to your right and there it is. Was filled with the cheaper filler items such as rice or beans and less of the meat and avocado etc. It does hit the spot when you feel like mexican and the staff are friendly, run through the process patiently and keep things moving. Sometimes service is a bit slow for a 30 minute lunch break but the place is popular and location is great.
