Good Chinese restaurant with efficient, friendly staff with a no fuss attitude. Menu is broad and covers everything from dumplings to noodles to soft shell crab. There is a specials board and most things are great. There is soy sauce, vinegar and chilli oil at each table. Plenty of seating that suits individuals and couples through to large groups. Located at the west end of Westfield Woden mall on the outside, near the supermarket entrance end. Plenty of parking at the mall, outside, out in front of the restaurant and underground.
Poor experience, was told there was a minimum $15 per person, only wanted a small bite to eat with my 80 yr old mother. No dipping sauce came with the dumplings so had to ask, was given straight minced ginger!!! Duck was fatty. Was told that you couldn’t insert eftpos card and enter a PIN number, won’t be going back!!!
Overpriced and minuscule servings. A dish with 5 prawns and a tonne of capsicum. Good taste but we had to supplement our dinner with KFC nuggets. Not very good value. Not a pleasant experience. No wonder no Asians go to this place. They know better. Not mention the abrupt wait staff who kept walking into the back of customers chairs.
We really enjoyed the laid back service . We found the food to be hot and fresh served quickly. Lots of reasonable priced meals. The dumplings were delicious. Adequate quantities. Parking can be tight on the street. Decore is appropriate not over done.
Went for lunch with my husband, and the food was fantastic. Really meaty duck spring rolls, the best laksa I've had in a long time, and a very tasty short soup.Food: 4/5
A good plan fried dumpling is juicy on inside, is encased in soft dough and pan fried to give a crunch to the bite. This was dry on the inside, dry on the outside and dripping with grease. Sooo sad.
Food was quick. Peaking duck could of given us a little more meat instead of putting them on prawn crackers to give it more volume. Staff service is quick but flat in terms of friendliness. The eggplant was ok, a little bit on the fishy side with the sauce they cook if in.
Beautiful food.. the taste was just amazing.. will be going back again soon to try some different dishes
Decent food. The pork and chives dumplings were great. The takeaway rice was just average. Price wise decent. Could be better.Food: 4/5
We went for dumplings. The vegetarian dumplings couldn't have been blander. Cabbage and carrots - that's all. No mushrooms, no herbs, no flavour. Load them up with the sauces, because that's the only flavour you'll detect. The other meat dumplings were marginally better. My 9 year old son blushed with embarrassment to be set a plastic bowl with kiddy-sized cutlery he's a chopstick veteran, and it's been a long time since he has dropped any crockery. We also had to ask for water. Disappointing - we won't be back.
