Went for dinner and had to approach the staff to take orders, as they would go and serve other customers who arrived after us. Had prawn crackers served and then waited for 45mins for dinner to come out which arrived 1 plate at a time. They forgot one of the dishes and we had to wait another 10mins for that to be cooked up. Over all, service was quite average for the price, however the food was still good. Have ordered takeaway many times without issues and the food has always been good, but we will rethink about going there for dinner again.
Service not as good as it should be, I phoned and placed a small take a way order and was given 20 minutes time to pick it up. On arrival it seemed that my order had been misplaced, but was told that my food would be ready in a few minutes, well another 25 minutes my food was actually ready. Each time I inquired, I was told just a few more minutes and also told how busy they were, well maybe you should employ more staff on a busy night. Not impressed with the service or the food!
We regularly eat at 'Hotties' and would highly recommend them to you. The food is great and is reasonably priced. It's family friendly. Oh, lousy fortunes in those damn cookies though. :
Quick friendly service and reasonable prices. The food tastes like its been flung into a sizzling wok, tossed and served, not like it's frozen and 5 days old. A great option when you're too tired to cook and clean up.
Love the food! We drive from Jerrabomberra to Gordon as we think it's the best Chinese food in Canberra. Great friendly service too. 10 out of 10!!
Been getting food here now for about 10 years . Always great food and friendly people . Delivery js usually really quick aswell. Ihighly recomend Chinese Hotplate .

Got the sizzling beef, and damn was it sizzling! All the food was nice. Jug of oolong for $2 each. Nice place, surprised it's not busier.
Service was fine and food cooked relatively fast, but Unfortunately the food was a huge disappointment. Couldn’t even eat it, won’t be ordering from here again.
We go to this restaurant a few times a month. Great service and fantastic food. Highly recommended
