Very happy with my meal tonight, the noodles taste impeccable, the rice tasted fresh and the chicken balls were very filling! I asked for 3 fortune cookies and they gave 4 which was nice of them, and they also gave a Chinese calendar for 2022 which was an amazing surprise. Overall, the food here is incredible, and they are really generous with their portion sizes. Thank you for such great food, I will be ordering again!
Ordered a Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken portion with sweet and sour noodles. Food was absolutely gorgeous, portions were really big, delivery was very fast around half an hour and it only cost me £12! Will definitely order again!
Tried this for the first time tonight dont normally write reviews but this place deserves a mention the food was absolutely delicious didnt order to much as had a few rubbish ones was pleasantly surprised, was fresh and hot and the beef was so succulent will definitely be ordering again and trying other dishes.
Absolutely shocking worst chinese I’ve ever had. The chicken in chicken curry was like rubber an no taste and the special chow mein well nothing special about that unless u call the meat pieces of fat in there special
Absolutely shocking. Order food at 8.30, don't laugh chips, rice, curry sauce and spring rolls. 2 hours later, wasn't even hot. Try to phone them but no answer, 40 mins of trying. Delivery driver had huge attitude, according to him got his problem basically. This take away needs to be gone. Their food hygiene is only a 3 might as well be a zero. Never ever bother with this so called take away. Only gave one star didn't want to give them any. Bye bye
Now under new management! The whole place has been refurbished and is now looking clean and bright. I ordered a few different dishes: Singapore fried rice, chicken noodles, special curry and crispy shredded beef. All hot and fresh and very tasty . I loved the crispy shredded beef dish, it was so crispy and the sweet and sour sauce compliments it nicely. I will definitely go back again and will try some of their popular vegetarian dishes next time!
Only Level 3 food hygiene rating, necessity and urgency helped us see past that though. Had chicken fried rice, chicken and cashew nuts, chicken sezchuan, prawn toast & prawn crackers. All tasted good and was modestly priced. The cashew nuts themselves looked rather shrivelled and sorry, Prawn toast was disappointingly rubbery but had a good flavour. This and the hygiene rating cost them my 5th star. They're now my 2nd choice for Chinese takeaway in Canton. My preferred Chinese takeaway is closed on Mondays. We've tried several others and this ranks above anything else on Cowbridge Road East.
Worst experience ever! Ordered food via JustEat and was meant to be with me at 21:05. At 21:35 called to see where the food was to be told it's on its way. Called back again at 21:45 to be told that the driver was outside on foot. Then at 22:00 was told that they have lost their driver??!!! Asked for our money back as we waited too long, they told us to hang on, hang on. Over 2 hours since ordering the food. Oddly, it was piping hot. Clearly the restaurant has forgotten about us and rushed the food around. It's not the late food that annoyed me but the fact that they lied to us. Don't order from here if you want your food quick!!
Worst Chinese of my life. Cheap but absolutely no flavour
Had to feed 22 people so decided chinese definately not disappointed, smelt wonderful tasted better than it smelt and the portion sizes were spot on. Well done guys we'll be ordering again and again, oh and the freebees for such an order, wow every one was well impressed
