I called in for a quick dinner on my way home from a long day at work, it was just after 8.30 pm. Was told they closed at 9 so had to order take out. Ordered satay chicken skewers and spring rolls. Spring rolls were tasteless except for the sauce which was supposed to be sweet and sour. The satay skewers were inedible, the chicken was so tough and the sauce did not resemble any satay I have ever tasted, but it did take the taste of the sweet and sour sauce away! I threw most of it in the bin, went home and had some toast. I will not go back to a restaurant that would dish that up.
Had a lovely meal last week. Great service and good food. Was quiet being a Wednesday evening but the staff were great. Vegetarian options: There were a number of vegetarian dishes within the menu Kid-friendliness: Our 6 month old granddaughter was welcomed and thought of during the evening. She loved the prawn crackers, prawn toast and had her own bowl for nice tasties from everyone's plate. Parking: There were plenty of car spaces on the street at the time of our booking. May be more difficult during the day. There is a car park a little way down the street
I've been to this place multiple times, during the day and night. All food are good and the staffs also friendly. I really enjoy the food even though it has been adjusted to local taste. I will always go back here for quick chinese food in town. :
Well, I was hesitant about accepting a lunch date with friends here, they are locals and said they always have a great meal here. I read the reviews first and was cautious. My wife, mother in-law, another couple and myself had, Mongolian beef, vegetable omelette and a prawn combination with fried rice. My beef came out very quickly, and it was still sizzling hot, and was very tender and tasty loved it and would order it again. My wife's vegetable omelette was great as well but was too big, as picture shows, so the remainder came home, but she loved it. Desserts were great as well. I'm going to try and pick on something, as I said, read reviews before going in, so I was checking the floor, the cutlery, tables, chairs, staff. Maybe they had a busy night, party maybe, but it was clean and tidy for us. The two young staff members were casual, but very polite, one was only new and didn't remember one of the meals they placed on the table, but apologized for forgetting it. So we'll go back, maybe we were lucky, but just giving our honest experience.
On being seated in restaurant..by Jaimee We were pleasantly suprised by the high customer service and cleanliness of the restaurant .. The servings were extremely generous and flavoursome Our Soups were Hot n sour and very delicious Noodles and Rice dishes standout with flavour sizzle steak was tender and did not disappoint. The food was very high standard. Jaimee service was amazing and a smile at all times... We will def be back...
the restaurant is incredibly 80's but really good and fair priced food will go again Dietary restrictions: make sure to ask the waiter if the dish you order contains anything your allergic to as it does not say on the menu
Food was very nice plenty of meat and vegs has improved vastly it is worth another try priced good Parking: All good
Entrees were 20 - 30,minutes apart,, for just 2 people,, then the waitress didn't write my partners order down,, so only one main meal, but apparently that means stiff bickies,, KFC to the rescue, And don't expect too many drinks, because the services is slooooow,, All in all this place ruined our night out,, Do yourselves a favour go any where else but here,
Beautiful meal nice friendly staff a little expensive but the best we have had in Tasmania. The honey chicken comes in a edible bowl the kids loved and the rice was nice and the meals are huge.
I tried twice with my friend. First we eat noodle and the second we try the other. It's tasty food and best for you that bored with Australian meals.
