I had an amazing lunch at Chicken Avenue in Carnes Hill. The food was hot and delicious as others have mentioned, and their super tasty and crispy chips with chicken salt were really quite good. Definitely better than the flimsy chips you get at most fast food chains. Their refreshing cold pasta salad we had the Greek Salad as part of our combo meal was also fresh and delicious. I noticed that they even have a full section of fresh poultry. And some cuts that you don't really find all too often chicken necks and feet, liver, giblets, etc.. It's undoubtedly the best chicken shop in the area for a reason - it seems like they have it all! If you're searching for top-quality poultry and fantastic service, this is the place to be. Chicken Avenue exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely be returning with my kids to try some of their other products. Vegetarian options: They have a full salad bar with a bunch of different fresh salads. I tried the Greek and it was crunchy and tasty. Dietary restrictions: They have options for everyone. Vegetarians, Vegans, Pescatarians. Parking: It's located inside Carnes Hill Marketplace, so parking is directly outside the Mall. Kid-friendliness: The chicken chippies in particular were a hit with my kids. And obviously all kids love hot chips. Wheelchair accessibility: One level with proper wheelchair access throughout.
My grandmother was charged $10 for a large chips and gravy and returned home with this.. I am sure this amount of chips wouldn’t even fill up a small.. disappointed other places have the chips flowing out of the sides
Came in for lunch with the kids. I had the lamb burger and both kids had the beef burger. The lamb burger was delicious, good ratio of greens and meat, the kids devoured their burgers without any complaints. Chips were really good too!! it's hard to find people that can do good hot chips. Ontop of all that, they had Great personable service. I'll definitely be back! Parking: It's shopping complex parking Kid-friendliness: Good range for kids
Ordered a bag of chicken feet $6.50, sent us home with a bag of chicken bones $4. When I came back to tell her, the Asian lady was so disgustingly rude. She then tried to tell me my husband asked for the bones and it was because the feet were too expensive ? She was not only so dam rude but tried to blame it on my husband with an excuse that was so clearly false. It was $2.50 more.... how is that too expensive ? She would not give me another bag unless I returned the chicken bones so "I could make money back" in her own words. I said how can you guarantee I would transport it in a safe and hygienic way for you to resell again ??? She didn't care. She was willing to sell it anyway. Isn't that an OHS issue ?? What a disgusting place with a disgusting Asian lady who was so rude. Never shopping here again and I suggest you don't unless you want to get food poisoning from their poor hygiene practices !!
I had an amazing lunch! I cannot believe how good the value for money is. $12.95 for the Strip Sub Combo and it was worth every cent. Tasted great! Will definitely be a returning customer.
Worst customer service ever - no professionalism at all!! No greetings or manners as how to talk to customers!! The lady who attended me seemed to be annoyed to see customers in the morning - was full of attitude - not even a hi or hello or good morning - all she said was “what are you after” and rolled her eyes and took off without saying anything and started taking her morning frustrations out on a innocent plastic bag … came back and told another girl to pack the orders!! Never going back again!! Business’s like that thinks they’re doing us a favour but doesn’t realise we’re the ones who’s helping them to keep their businesses going!!
ordered the Vietnamese Crunchy Chicken roll..ha.. roll was soft and broken up like it was old and been heated up in the micro. not crunch at all. cucumber was cut at least into big thick triangle strips . Chicken was dry, old chicken heated up in micro as the bread roll. Dont waste your $5.95
Vietnamese chicken roll. Um this is not a Banh mi, so please stop calling it that, Its just a roll slapped together. Purple onions are NOT Spring onions, Bread was no Crispy, Chicken was Dry, and i have no idea what sauce was used. The Cucumber was not pickled. Save your money and go somewhere else. And please stop calling this a Vietnamese roll
Chicken always dry and bland not to mention poor quality service; the lady actually yelled at me when I asked if she could fill up the chicken chippies to the top saying you only get 10. Ok relax lady!! Honestly these people have no idea. Definitely won’t be going back!
I ordered the healthy chicken wrap. the lady then went to the back to prepare my wrap. Guess she used old chicken because it was dry and 12hours later BANG !! FOOD POISONING.!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!
