My wife and I had an amazing dinner here for valentines day. We started with a wonderful variation on a Caprese salad, with smokey goats cheese and capers alongside tomato and basil, as well as pork and veal meatballs on hand made pasta, this was my favourite dish by far. For mains we had beef short rib and the fish with leek and gazpacho. Both were well balanced and delicious, but the beef rib was a standout. Service was pleasant and well timed. This is a step above your average suburban restaurant and well worth the effort if you're not a local.
Chianti Bistro has new owners. I loved the Orecchiette with anchovy crumbs. Beautiful strawberries with the Burrata as a dessert. It's good to see a new restaurant start so well. I shouldn't forget to mention the small but well chosen selection of wines and the friendly attentive staff!
Delicious meals - baked fish, tender steak fillets, tasty salads. Gracious and friendly staff. Function room upstairs had a lovely atmosphere.
Best pasta in the area and generally very quiet.
Veg options are great
