What a wonderful place! My two daughters and I have had the most relaxing time. The staff are so welcoming, relaxed and accommodating. The breakfast is excellent and the staff at the restaurant are so warm and professional. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. The pool facilities are fantastic, ability to order food and drinks to the pool area makes it extra relaxing. Highly personalised experience in every interaction, which is hard to find these days. Can’t wait to be back here..
My husband and I spent a few days of our honeymoon here and absolutely loved every moment. Staff were absolutely professional and lovely. Everyone was very accommodating and relaxed. We loved that there were no restrictions on pool hours and that we could order food and drinks at the pool. Beautiful grounds and rooms. Will absolutely be back again!
We had a lovely stay and cannot fault Spices Guesthouse. The staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. The outlook from the restaurant was serene and we were joined by kangaroo's the first morning. The property grounds were immaculate. The room and all indoor areas were clean. We ordered a cheese platter picnic which was huge for 2 people. The property was off the main road so you couldn't hear the noise from the traffic at all. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
This is such a beautiful property. The rooms are lovely, and the beds are so comfy. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Sitting around the outdoor fireplace as the sun goes down with a cocktail in hand is pretty special. We will definitely stay here again!

Outstanding service and accomodation. The entire place is well maintained. Thank you for the hand written anniversary note and chocolates on arrival in our room. The kangaroos amongst the garden while having breakfast was an amazing experience. When visiting the hunter region, this is a must experience!Rooms: 5/5
I stayed for three nights over Xmas with family and have so many good things about this place. Super friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous common areas and rooms, yummy food and great amenities. They also have four electric car chargers in their car park! I was able to drive my new Volvo EV from Sydney to the Hunter Valley and then charge it again for the drive home. The convenience of EV charging is really going to put forward-thinking businesses above the rest. I would definitely stay here again.
An amazing place to stay! Our room was cosy, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was wonderful and it was lovely to sit outside in the morning with a coffee watching the kangaroos graze nearby. The pool is lovely and the grounds are a wonderful place for a relaxing walk.
If you’re looking to stay in the Hunter Valley I highly recommend staying at Spicers Guesthouse. The King Deluxe room is beautiful and the surroundings is amazing so tranquil. The staff are so friendly and Rachell from the restaurant was so inviting and shared her beautiful story about her reason for working for Spicers Guesthouse thank you, if you get to read this Rachell. Tracey & Anna were also so inviting it was just a lovely experience. The people, the room, pool, surroundings, breakfast and dinner was all on point! I highly recommend staying at Spicers Guesthouse. My partner loved it so much too! Thank you
It is a lovely please overall! Room was soo clean. It is nice and quite place. Breakfast was also really good. Italian lady at the reception was lovely. Only stayed for one night, I wish we could stay more. Will come back again
