What better way to start an evening with the French Film Festival at Palace Como across the road!  Chic French bistro. Warm and vibrant. Excellent attentive professional service Imaginative menu Sensational food. Great presentation. Food envy for everyone else's selections.  A really delightful  evening.  We'll be back.

I can't say I'm too familiar with French cuisine as this was only my second time having French cuisine so can't vouch for how authentic it is, but if it's of any indication there were many French speaking patrons who were dining in the restaurant as well as a mostly if not all French speaking staff.  Now, on my personal experience I've had a really nice time dining here with a friend. Food was amazing and  and the waiting staff that was serving us was really friendly. So all in all , I had a really nice time and would recommend this place to others who are keen for some French food in a cosy bistro :

We celebrated my birthday here with a table of 7 and could not find one fault! AMAZING french food, beats the pants off other ones in the area, top quality produce and great little hideaway space. I'd recommend the mussels, seafood bisque, snails and oysters to start! Definitely will be coming backFood: 5/5

I’d say it’s probably the best French cuisine I’ve ever had in Melbourne. Every single dish I had was simply amazing and I was so stuffed that night. The most delicious one is mussel.

One of the better French bistros in Melbourne. Great variety of menu items to choose from and definitely recommend the mussels. Next time we visit we would just choose a number of entrees as our meal. Only downside was the charge for bread.

Two of my Favourite dishes: Creamy Mashed Potatoes: This dish is made with tender, boiled potatoes that are mashed with butter and milk to create a smooth and creamy texture. The result is a savory, comforting side dish that is perfect for any occasion. Rosiini Steak with Foie Gras: This steak dish features a juicy and tender cut of beef that is cooked to perfection and topped with a generous portion of rich and buttery foie gras. The flavors of the steak and foie gras complement each other perfectly, making this an indulgent and satisfying meal. The foie gras is made from the liver of specially-fattened ducks, and is prized for its creamy and decadent flavor.

This well established restaurant is still serving authentic French cuisine after all these years. Used to frequent them on Grevjlle St in the past. You can never go past their bisque. It is so divine and I always end up wiping the plate clean with the bread provided. Their eye fillet wrapped with bacon topped with foie gras is also a must try! Also, there is a wide selection of French wine to pair with your steak

It was our second time coming as we we're so pleased the first time. As a French person I am not easy to satisfied. The food is sincerely delicious. Picture yourself eating a boeuf bourguinion that is so amazing that you close your eyes and smile like a kid, just wantimg to seize the moment and capture the meal in your bud taste. The staff is having the right distance and right evel of attention. The decor is like a chic bistrot with music from my childhood to the new generation. If I were to die, it will be where I would get my last meal.

A treat to enjoy some French flavours at this restaurant. Not high end formal dining so you can chill to very good quisine & service without the stuffiness! Every dish was delicious & service was friendly &  professional. Highly recommend! Missed taking pics of our entres & desserts
