Cheveux Design and espresso is a beautifully renovated hair salon and espresso bar owned by dynamic sister duo Carla and Nadine Thurgate in Brisbane's leafy suburb of Auchenflower.

Espresso bar open Tues-Sat, 7am-1.30pm.

Story

Sisters and best friends, Carla and Nadine combine their passion, experience and skills into a boutique offering, Cheveux Design and espresso.

With more than 15 years experience, Nadine is the lead stylist at Cheveux Design and espresso.

Carla runs the espresso bar (open Tuesday-Saturday 6.45am-1pm) and provides HR consulting through her other venture, Frominsideout Consultancy.

Cheveux Design and espresso also houses a small, fully-equipped meeting space available for hire. If you’re looking for a small space to hire, please call us.

Great little salon with quaint take away coffee shop attached. Perfect for those coffee lovers to enjoy while you are getting your hair done. Staff were lovely, however I did not like the colour of my hair.

Very attentive and friendly service.  Nadine has cut my tresses beautifully for a number of years now.

Always great service and great coffee from the girls at Cheveux! Love that I can do a spot of shopping while I'm there as they always have a great collection of clothing, shoes, handbags and jewellery on sale as well. My hubby travels across town to get his hair cut by Bel.

I've been going to Cheveux for quite some time now.  Nadine and Belle are great at what they do - great at hair, and very genuine and caring!!  And with Carla helping out in the management of the business side of things, it's a great team.  I wish them every success.

I'm so glad that I found this salon. My blonde hair has never been in such good condition. Beyond the hair styling, whenever I walk into Cheveux, it feels like coming home. The atmosphere is calm and friendly. And the coffee is SO good.

I love Cheveux and would highly recommend them! Nadine is a fantastic stylist and I always get the perfect cut and colour. Love that you can have a real coffee and sweet treat rom the espresso bar while you have your hair 'did' too :D

I started seeing Nadine about 2 years ago after feeling like my classic cut and colour that stays the same year in, year out was deemed too boring for my previous salon. Nadine has kept my ginger locks looking glossy and tamed since then and I know her advice is always genuine.

Awesome set up. Great spot for coffee. Even better staff & a really cool vibe.
