Lovely cafe and great service. It's our second time here and it's always been awesome. The food was really good. My husband and I both ordered eggs benedict with smashed avocado & Spinach on the side and it was perfect! My husband loved the coffee. I ordered Banana milk shake although I got the chocolate milk shake but it's never an issue for me and it's not the end of the world! I could have requested them to get me a new one and I'm sure they'd be happy to replace it but it's no big deal as I love chocolate too. Thank you and see you next time :
The cafe has space both inside and outside. The menu selection is quite limited, but the food tasted good.
I have spent two breakfast while I stayed in Bright. The outdoor area was ideal for us because we have a dog. We met locals and it made the environment so natural and enjoyable as a traveller . The food was in great quality with its affordable price. We will come back again
WARNING: customer will always be in the wrong at this establishment!! We must have picked the wrong day to eat at the Cherry Walk Cafe. The young staff member completely messed up our breakfast for 3. We ended up with 5 meals!! The disappointing part was that no one felt the need to take responsibility for this rather large stuff-up. We paid too much and had a disappointing cold breakfast
Stopped by here on the way home from the snow. Couldn't have picked a worse place. Reviews were oddly mixed, but now I just believe the good reviews are friends or family. The girl behind the counter had non-existent customer service skills. Not a smile, nor a "hello". Bacon and egg rolls were terrible. One drop of sauce. Politely asked staff for more, and have you ever seen someone's eyes roll to Africa...everyone so rude. Do yourself a favour and avoid. Not so Bright Cafe in a pretty town. After reading reviews owner seems like a piece of work. Bet she is going to reply "mate...". lol. This cafe generation of butt holes.
Very expensive Egg and bacon roll had one piece of bacon, ginger glow tea tasted like twinning fruit tea that had the bag removed too quickly. BLT was good but overall very expensive, need to work on portion sizes and tea was awful.
Went to Cherry Walk at 10:00am on a Saturday morning and ordered sourdough toast for $8.50 and asked for it to be takeaway. After 25 minutes I asked the counter if it was on its way as I thought that was a long wait for toast. I was rudely told that the toast had been waiting on top of the coffee machine and that they had tried to call out to me, which they never did. Staff were non apologetic over the long wait and by the time I ate it, it was cold. I would not recommend this place to eat.
Burnt coffee, too hot to touch/drink. Staff slightly rude. I asked 2 different staff to confirm my coffee was the correct one but they seemed vague and avoidant of checking. No table system so there was a lot of confusion as reflected in other reviews. As a barista/cafe manager of 6 years it’s simple. Create systems, train your barista and staff properly if you can’t, at least respond constructively to reviews, not defensively. Bad reviews are valuable as they highlight and usually detail opportunities for improvement. Use them! If staff are at least more pleasant and helpful, customers are inclined to be a little more tolerant when a cafe is still getting their services/systems up to scratch - YouTube’s your friend! Cute & thoughtful to put a little choccy with the coffee : Looking forward to seeing this cafe utilise their reviews & improve/ evolve
Meals were good. Younger staff serving were great. The Older woman working the coffee machine behind the counter was very abrupt and rude to other patrons waiting to order. It’s not good for business and reading the other reviews it’s not a new thing. I understand the hospitality industry has had it hard with Covid etc. but it’s not hard to be nice.
Great Cafe! Great food and coffee! Great young and friendly staff, can appreciate a local family run business that gives teenagers a fair go! Great atmosphere nestled in a lovely spot with outdoor dining! When we arrived we were surprised with the entitled behaviour of a customer, quite comical really, who even threatened staff with a bad review, standard keyboard warrior! Haha. We continued to order and everything was very prompt during a steady lunch time service! Will definitely be returning! Definitely recommend this venue!
