They were very fast with the orders. I had a wonderful all you can eat sushi experience. The White Tuna Sashimi was so delicious. They have a huge variety of foods. They had great dessert options as well. I really enjoyed the Creme Brulee.
Good food. Nice presentation of the dishes. Service could use to be friendlier. Great atmosphere!Food: 4/5
Had a lovely lunch here with my family. Food came fast. Servers were funny, yet didn't waste your time. The ordering system was nice, and allowed everyone to get what they wanted. It's also very close to University of Guelph, making it a nice place to chill with friends. I really enjoyed it, and recommend others visit this place too. Edit: Came back with a friend, still as good as I remembered! Added a pic! Vegetarian options: There were plenty of options, all with proper notation on the menu for easy determination on what is and isn't vegetarian Parking: Very empty parking lot, very easy to find space. Wheelchair accessibility: If I remember correctly there were slopes to get onto the sidewalk, and then from there the restaurant is flat-floored
Always our go to sushi place. If you're looking for something that's high quality, fresh, and delicious, this is the perfect place. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. We happily drive from our home city to this great restaurant.
Restaurant looks fancy and the food was good, however the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Took my wife and less than two year old daughter out for dinner to celebrate a special occasion. We informed the hostess we wanted to do all you can eat, instead of welcoming us she looked at us up and down and told us the price. Not sure why that’s the first thing you say when the customer didn’t ask but we said, ok no problem. Then she told my wife the child is separate to which my wife said we brought our own snacks for her cause she’s under two and has food allergies. Once we were seated, we setup our daughter on the high chair at the end of the table with her bowls and food so the staff can see and proceeded to place our order. They have a good selection for all you can eat and quality was good as well. While in the middle of dinner we believe the manager/owner came over to help clear some plates but was basically throwing them in the bin clearly with attitude, unsure why we thanked her and got no response. Fast forward to the end, we got the bill which was basically thrown at us and saw that they charged my daughter despite her not eating and us clearly having brought her own food for her. We asked the manager/owner why she was charged, her response was “well she was here”. I didn’t see the other negative reviews prior to coming here but what others have said about how they treat you if you have children or being judged at the door, all happened to us as well. I do not recommend this place if you care about having a good dining experience and good customer service. Kid-friendliness: Not children friendly, if you have a child under the age of two, be expected to pay even if they don’t eat. Parking: Lots of parking in the plaza.
My boyfriend and I have come here for years and always have a had a great experience. Unfortunately today was different. We sat down for the “all you can eat” experience. We ordered two appetizers, 4 rolls and a desert. The appetizers were lovely , we were then served our rolls and dessert. Dessert was great however we were unable to eat our rolls. Each roll came with a chemically smell and taste. We tried bites of multiple to confirm and found ourselves unable to continue. We in total each had 2 scallops, 2 mussels, 2 fried milk cubes and a bite of each roll. We immediately brought this to the servers attention and after let her know we were ready to go as we heard our neighbour table having issues as well. She brought us a $94 bill. We let the manager know we would be happy to pay for the food we ate but didnt think we should pay for the “all you can eat” experience as we could not enjoy our food and we’re only sat for 20 minutes. The manager refused and took $9 off our our bill telling us that was “the best he could do”. We are disappointed in today’s experience as we were not taken care of fairly.
Not as good as I remember. The rice portions are quiet large in the rolls and the eggplant/mango salad isn't good
We've been going here for years, in fact since the owners opened W Sushi originally. The foods outstanding. We love the atmosphere as well. Nice place to eat. The service is usually really good but this time I was far less than impressed. We sat at the table for 20 minutes before they took our order we were ordering off the menu, not all you can eat. The food came quick but took forever for ginger, refills on our drinks, etc. Also it took about 15 minutes to get our check. It was NOT busy in there. The service was appalling! But the food is amazing
The food was great. The service and rules of the restaurant are not. It was a family members bday….5 of us were eating all you can eat. One was not. They made her sit at a separate table alone. Her kids 2 and 3 couldn’t even sit with her. Because they had kids all you can eat. Then they told us it had to be a separate bill. But because we were a party of 6 we had to pay an extra 15%. I explained to them that they just told us we had to have a separate bill so technically we were a party of 5 and she was a party of 1. But they told us if one person was paying for all 6 then it was a party of 6 even if the bills were separate. Also, their all you can eat went up to $44 a person. Which I find it a lot. I usually tip 20% but they already took the 15% from the total bill so that was that. I understand that restaurants are hurting right now but that whole situation just seemed a bit like we were taken advantage of. I mean our bill was over 200. It wasn’t like we were trying to rip them off. Probably won’t be going there again.
What a cool restaurant. Very nice, comfortable and quiet. Food was very good. Service could've been better... friendlier.Food: 4/5
