I just want to give a huge compliment to the young male pharmacist who was working around 9:30 am today. He’s tall with short black hair and was incredibly professional and kind. Five stars for him only, not for the store.nnWhen I came in to ask about a medicine, he didn’t just hand it to me, he asked who it was for, what it was being used for, whether I knew how it works, and if I was taking any other medications. Then he patiently explained the difference between what I’m currently using and the medicine I asked about, gave me thoughtful advice on how to take care of myself first, and even told me when it would be necessary to see a GP.nnThis was honestly the FIRST TIME I’ve met such a patient and caring pharmacist at this Chemist Warehouse. In the past, most staff I met seemed rushed or a bit impatient, so I often felt nervous to ask questions.nnBut today’s experience completely changed that. I didn’t even spend any money in the end, yet he still offered me such professional and patient help, full marks for his attitude and professionalism! All the best to him.
The store needs to be rearranged to accommodate the amount of customers they have.nnIt's so impractical to expect your customers to leave their trolleys outside.nnAfter you drop off your script, rather than waiting for 20 to 30 minutes because of how busy they are obviously people are either going to do some groceries or shop around sunnybank plaza or sunnypark. And you expect them to offload the shopping in the car before returning to collect the script? What if they don't have a car? Leave the trolley outside for anyone to walk past and take things?nnFigure out a new store layout so it's more spacious and accommodating.
I’m really disappointed with their service. A curly hair guy told me to wait 20 minutes for my medication and said they’d text me when it was ready. I ended up waiting 50 minutes with no message at all. When I went back to the store to ask, the curly-haired one who served me earlier saw me and deliberately avoided me. Then someone else came over, and when I asked what was going on, turns out my prescription had been ready ages ago—no one bothered to contact me. What’s the point of taking my phone number then? Just a waste of my time. With service like that, I’m definitely not going back again.
Good parking, open late, does the job. What more could you want?nnI’ve come here twice, somewhat late at night, in need of medications. The first experience was just standard, as a normal chemist is. The second experience, I interacted with the pharmacists at the back. The experience was pleasant - they were friendly and explained things well and made sure I understood how to take the medication. The girl at the front was also very smiley and friendly.nnIn terms of the store itself, it’s quite a large store. They have a lot of stock and you can probably find whatever you need. Their prices are good not really sure what a different chemist would be like, but probably similar. I had a good experience here - nothing great but nothing terrible ‍ I guess the biggest selling point is the long opening hours??
