I really want to say thank to pharmacist or assistant whom I have met today. English isn’t my first language and I did let him know. He was very kind and friendly to me and also explained easily for me. He is very professional. Thank you for giving good memory.
Really impressed with the level of customer service from this store. Staff are always lovely and polite. Witnessed some extremely rude customers in there though. Thank you for your assistance when I need it, it’s always appreciated by me at least!
Date 29/04/2023 Time 10:30am I went to collect a click and collect order. There is a dedicated click and collect counter so I went and stood in that. The security guard was rude and told me in a rude tone to stand in queue. When I said I’m here for a click and collect, again he said in a rude tone “Yes, but still you need to stand in queue”. The queue was so long and I had to queue up. Queuing is not an issue, but why have a dedicated click and collect counter if that’s not for click and collect customers. Second, the security guards need to learn some manners. The 2 stars are because the nice lady at the counter was really helpful, or else it would be a 0 star from me.
Very bad service by a particular male pharmacist or assistant whom I have encountered a few times. Or should I say no service as he never got back to me when he was supposed to check on progress of my scripts. Basically lost my patience the last time as he was more interested in getting off work then update my script status when he was supposed to find out for me.
I asked how long my prescription would take and was told 20-25 minutes. I left the store and returned 30 minutes later and rang the bell at the collection desk. 10 minutes later a pharmacist attended to me, but didnt know anything about my prescription. They disappeared for ANOTHER 10 minutes after which a different pharmacist returned and asked my name. ANOTHER 10 minutes passed, before I was attended to by a different pharmacist again! who then apologised as they had misplaced my prescription, which apparently was prepared a while ago but left somewhere else??? Chemist warehouse get your act together. This is shoddy and disrespectful to customers!!!
In this store I can buy good and cheap products. In addition there is a wonderful attendant Ranjeeta. She helped me find the perfect product for me.
I often shop at this Norwood branch. I believe that there are many ways that their service could be improved. I have found the assistants' knowledge of where i can locate a product to be very poor. Unfortunately today was my worst experience . It took an hour for me to get the products i had ordered for Click and Collect' When the cashier had finished chattering to the cashier next to her I moved forward to show her my order on the mobile and my driving licence. Instead of looking at my phone she insisted on me reading out the order number. She told me that this order wasn't from Norwood. I then went to my emails and she declared that both orders were from Sefton Park and i would have to go there. I explained that the first order i made and paid for was at Norwood and that when 2 of the items were unavailable I made an order for. those items at Sefton Park. an hour or 2 later The fiasco of explaining this to the pharmacist resulted in the same response. .'we cant get these items transferred you have to go to Sefton park for both orders. 'An hour later having checked my bank and orders i asked to see the manager. The point is I wouldn't have had to go through all this stress and embarrassment if the cashier had been willing to scroll to the Norwood order or call someone else if she was too busy or indifferent to do so herself. She showed no interest in helping me at all. The manager was the worst of all of them . Her only goal was to be right and even when i showed her the confirmation that this order was in this shop and not at Sefton Park she still looked for an excuse to blame me. Yes, i was very angry and stressed but it was hardly surprising. The manager was waspish and only interested in blaming me. It is my perception that the assumption that i had set the wrong location on line was due to Ageism and I am quite sure I would have also been treated differently had i been a MAN. A manager should be given training in Conflict Management and how to diffuse a tense situation rather than escalate it. The security guy was the most helpful person. He had a very pleasant manner and went out of his way to find a solution. The others were dismissive and obstructive. . None were listening or willing to believe anything i said or look at the proof on phone. It was a very different experience at another branch so obviously some are much better than aNorwood. Chemist Warehouse appear to show NO interest in improving their service unlike Woolworths. Target ,Coles or Albi. I tried to send my complaints to them and was blocked so of course we are using this website to vent our feelings!
Great range. Always busy. Only ever has two checkouts open though so be prepared for long wait times in the queue.
Some ridiculous reviews here! Parking & slow service is part of living near a CBD, go complain elsewhere. What do you expect...? Aisles were clean, full of stock & specials abroad a range of categories & even had rare stock at the back. Just ask an employee & they might have it at the back! A+
I have been to this particular store over,5 Times in the last fortnight. Only good thing is parking available for customers at the back of store. There is always staff doing stuff on the 'shelves,,'. Yet the line for check out is always slow and long. 3 registers are at the front of store, usually only 2 are open. Security isn't very friendly
