I want a formal apology from the shop manager and the head office for discrimination. I live in the local area. As I walked in, a staff member named Flora asked me to leave, accusing me of stealing in the past. I demanded that Flora show me proof; she then ran off, hid in the back, and asked security to escort me out. I demanded that the store manager speak to me, but no one came out and addressed the matter, asking me to complain on the website. I understand Malvern, as a neighbourhood, is predominantly a Caucasian neighbourhood. I know someone who looks like me and, with not the most appealing look, will stand out in a neighbourhood where I look like the migrant workers who work there, but it does not give anyone a reason to discriminate. Especially what is happening in the world right now, businesses have the responsibility to be more sensitive, educating their workforce on how to live in a modern world where a Caucasian person is not the centre of the universe.
Warehouse chemist Malvern is now typically the slowest customer service available,nIm regurlarly kept waiting 30 min for a prescription, and pickup service is just as slow, there horribly understaffednspend more time on the phone taking orders, while the instore public are kept waiting time and time again,nits now become a pandemic,nthe recent renovations there have only added to the confusion,nit seems now common practice with cues getting longer and longer,nIm going back to my original corner chemist where service is prioritised, even if you pay a few dollars morenits not worth the frustartion anymore, you only come away dissapointed and late for your next engagement

I called ahead and was told they price match. Went in the same day and they refused, claiming they buy the product at $99, even though I’ve bought it there before for $58. Then they made up another excuse about not matching stores over 5km away. Totally misleading and dishonest. Won’t be going back.
