Terrible customer service: incorrectly charged me by scanning product twice and also incorrectly labeled prices. Staff was inexperienced and busy.

I was hoping to exchange an item here that I had bought on the same day, earlier in the morning at another nearby chemist warehouse but instead was confronted with appalling behaviour. The customer service representative kept accusing me of opening the bottle, which had no seal to begin with. I noticed that it was the wrong type only after I got home. She first said ok, I will exchange providing that we can keep the receipt, in which I had no problem with. Then she started whispering to the near by pharmacist  and said sorry we cannot exchange, you opened the bottle. She kept accusing me of opening the damn bottle without taking into account that I had bought it on the same day, only a few hours earlier. I did not come in to exchange an item a day, a week or a even year later. In fact, I would have not come in at all if i was going to lie like that. What rude behaviour to constantly accuse someone of something they did not do. Made me feel like a criminal for the pettiest thing. The cheapest chemist in Australia also comes with the CHEAPEST AND LOWEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I never write reviews but the staff at this chemist warehouse was BEYOND RUDE! If I could give a ‘0’ star, I would, def for customer service. I was with my sister in law who is heavyily pregnant getting baby products in preparation for the pending arrival & also an opportunity to stock up for my son. There was some great offers, which we thought we would take advantage of namely getting 3 packets of wipes for free when we purchase a 400g of sudocrem. We got confirmation from the floor staff & she informed us that we could pick it up at the counter. We decided to get 2 each & when we got to the counter, the staff there was so adamant that we could only get 1 per customer even though the catalogue states for ‘EVERY’ 400g sudocrem purchased. So there was 4 staff at the registers who tried to convince us that it wasn’t the case, raising their voice at my heavily pregnant sister-law, telling us to use our common sense and that they couldn’t do anything for us. While we were explaining it again to another staff, half way through she walked off! They were all extremely rude and clearly making up their own rules and not adhereing to what has been advertised. Please think twice about ever going to this store, especially if you think they will honor the promotion that you see in statewide catalogue!
