We visited this store for some vitamins and limb support items. The store is large and has all sorts of supplements, perfume, face and body products and more. We managed to find the items we were looking for and prices were reasonable. A good place for health related products.
The service at Chemist Warehouse is absolutely pathetic. I ordered some supplies 5 days ago, which normally take 1 day. No text or call. Tried to phone today, chose all 4 options, placed in queues, then after waiting the message changed to call another time or send an email. Went to the store, large queues to pick up orders. One person attending to customers. Finally got the supplies, no explanation. Went to checkout, large lines again. When I was served, the products didn't register, I told them that this always happens. Told to go back to pharmacist to get it sorted. Finally got the supplies. Very annoyed, and angry.
Was greeted with a friendly hello from Security guard. I headed straight to the perfume. Asked a staff member for a certain product and was promptly helped by Thomas. I showed him 2 photos of perfumes that i was looking for. I was in a bit of a hurry.nThomas was very friendly. They had run out of stock of the one i was looking for but he was very knowledgeable on the other products in the same range. Thomas had a great smile and exceptional customer service. He waited patiently while i called my son to confirm other perfume.nThomas then took me straight to the register popped the 2 perfumes into 2 separate bags as he had already found out from chatting that they were 2 separate gifts!nWell done Thomas. 5 'snWould highly recommend CW @ Gunghalin.nRegards Bee
I witnessed absolutely appalling behaviour from a man and his wife who were yelling at a young worker doing her job today in the beauty area. Christmas is a very stressful time and workers should not have to put up with that. That young lady who was working is doing a very good job and should be proud.
Absolutely disgusting service at this chemist. I travelled 20 minutes while sick to collect my prescription, only to be refused because it was “10 minutes before closing.” The staff member claimed it was “policy” not to serve prescriptions within 10 minutes of closing. When I asked him to show me this policy, he admitted he didn’t have it. Instead, he actually pulled up Google Maps and told me to travel another 20 minutes away to a different pharmacy!nThis is a chemist shop, your basic duty is to dispense prescriptions. Ten minutes before closing is still trading hours. To refuse a visibly unwell customer and then send them on a wild goose chase to another pharmacy is inhumane, unprofessional, and shameful. If this really is Chemist Warehouse policy, it’s disgraceful. If not, then staff are hiding behind fake rules just to close early.nI ask higher management to investigate this matter immediately. Staff who treat sick customers in such an inhumane way should be removed from the business. Customers deserve care and dignity, not humiliation!!
