I received the most pleasant care and support at the pharmacy yesterday from Gary, the type of care where you feel compelled to represent the person in some way. I then heard another gentleman compliment Gary on his energy and kindness. Gary asked me how I was and when I said I was having a very busy day, he replied so earnestly that I was doing really well. He was efficient and very uplifting in our short interaction but left such a positive impression. Sending my sincere gratitude and appreciation for Gary!
I had a very disappointing experience with a staff member named Elsa S black hair at the counter. She was extremely unfriendly and rude from the start, with no patience or basic customer service manners.nnShe did not know how to process a prepaid EFTPOS credit card, and instead of asking for help or explaining the situation politely, she behaved as if she just wanted us to leave. There was no apology, no explanation, and no attempt to resolve the issue.nnHer language and attitude were rude, and at one point she pointed her finger at us without saying anything, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. She also appeared unsure how to properly use the cashier system, yet took her frustration out on customers.nnThis kind of behaviour is unacceptable in a customer-facing role. I hope management provides proper training and addresses this attitude, as it seriously affects the customer experience.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this store, mainly due to the way my issue was handled by a staff member named Jodie.nnI purchased a perfume after clearly pointing out the one I wanted to the sales assistant. I was sent to the till to pay, and the product was never double-checked with me. The next morning, on my birthday, I opened it and realised I had been given the wrong perfume.nnWhen I returned to the store, I was told it couldn’t be exchanged because it had been opened, even though the mistake was not mine. I was asked to come back another day to speak with a manager. When I did, Jodie approached me without introducing herself and spoke to me in a rude, abrupt, and dismissive manner.nnShe offered no solution, showed no empathy, and completely ignored the fact that the error came from the staff member who sold me the product. Her attitude was condescending and disrespectful, and when I asked for her last name to make a formal complaint, she refused to provide it. The way she treated me made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected as a customer.nnI was not asking for a refund — I simply wanted the correct perfume that I had originally selected.nnCustomer service is about taking responsibility and treating people with respect. Unfortunately, Jodie did neither. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this store.
They want to keep your scripts to lock you in but keep losing them. There is a culture of victim blaming sorry, its not my fault you lost my script!. That said I don't blame individual staff as I can see they work extremely hard. But, if you want service with a smile, and the personal touch, go elsewhere. I will be from now on as I don't believe in the brand, and the workers seems under duress. I will not go there for medications or anything else as I think it is such a miserable experience being in those shops. Rich W
Better than other Geelong branches. Spacious and well laid out. Helpful staff if you have difficulty finding anything. Very helpful pharmacists.
