I’ve been a loyal Chemist Warehouse customer for over 13 years, and I’ve always had great experiences — until today at the Brookvale store. This was genuinely the worst customer service I have ever encountered: confusing explanations, evasive responses, and a level of dishonesty I’ve never experienced in any Chemist Warehouse before.nnI tried to use the company’s Lowest Price Guarantee exactly as written on their official website. If the staff did not want to price match, they could have simply told me upfront — I would have accepted that.nnInstead, I was left waiting for over 30 minutes, only for the store to completely disregard the very policy they publicly advertise to attract customers. I met every single requirement of the policy, yet the staff gave vague, inconsistent, and completely unrelated reasons to refuse it. It felt deliberately evasive, as if the guarantee exists only as marketing rather than something they intend to honour.nnTo make things worse, I was even quoted a price higher than the shelf price for an item — which was shocking and deeply unprofessional.nnAfter 13 years of loyalty, this experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The lack of transparency, the time wasted, and the dismissive attitude left me feeling completely let down.nThis is honestly the most deceptive and unprofessional retail experience I’ve had, and I genuinely hope no one else ends up being treated the same way here.
Very disappointing experience. Misleading advertising and confusing pricing made the “deal” seem far better than it was. Poor customer service and questionable sales tactics. Not recommended.
For chemist to lock a $3.15 packet of tablets so i dont steal them betwwen walking 20m to checkout, makes the customer wonder what is wrong with there appearance & many other things...nPurchased 2 if the cheapest things the shop sells & you make me feel like I come across as a thief & or drug addict.!nI wont let this judgement ruin day.n1st time its happened.nLAST TIME ALSO..nWhi steals a product worth $3.25 seriously..nNot impressed.n6.45pm 16thFeb2026nBut you won't ruin my day.
Worst customer service ever — go to another pharmacy.nnI went there yesterday to buy some cold sore patches. I bought two packs with 15 units each, and when I got home, one of them was completely empty and the other had only 9 patches inside.nnI went back today and explained the situation. The cashier was very polite and helpful, but when she called the manager to assist with the situation, all the good customer service disappeared.nnHe insisted that the only thing he could do was take both packages back the empty one and the remaining patches from the other and contact the supplier, which makes no sense at all, since it’s clear that someone stole the patches inside the store and left only the packaging. I asked if it was possible for him to check the cameras, and he said no — that he could only contact the supplier and that the packages were sealed which they are clearly not — and he even implied that I was trying to “trick” him.nnIn the end, I left without my money, without any product, and feeling extremely offended by the situation.nnSome time ago, I had a similar issue at Coles, and they were super polite, apologized about the situation and immediately gave me a new product.nnI intend to never return to this store, and I suggest that you buy your medication at other pharmacies or if you still wants to go to this store, make sure to always open the packages and check if the product is actually inside before leaving the store.
I am very happy with the brookvale chemist warehouse -and again today from MUSABnso thought I would write this review on the service I continually receive from this store.nnFirstly I had a read through your reviews online,nnWow, there are a lot of people that simply don’t understand dispensing medication is not like grabbing a loaf of bred and not expecting any delays.nnThe complaints about parking to waiting timesnthey complain about, are simply shameful,nBring a good book or a high jump,nGet over yourselves would be my encouragement.nnI called up today to see if my medication had arrived.nnI spoke with MUSAB and yes, it took some time to discover it had arrived.nnMusab was incredibly professional and courteous during what I understand to be,ndue diligence.nnThe whole team I have dealt with at chemist warehouse brookvale are forever helpful.nnMUSAB, thank younagain for treating me professionally, with courtesy and respect.nnI will be back!
