I went to grab a birthday gift and got odd looks from the guard before entering the shop.nnThey were consistently looking me in whatever aisle I was in. Safety is such an important thing, but this felt quite excessive.nnHowever, the shop is really spacious which gives more variety. The staff themselves were very helpful with products.nnWould come again, just needs improvement on a welcoming experience.
I usually have a good shopping experience at Chemist Warehouse Alexandria, which is why I felt compelled to write this review. Today, on an already very hot day, the store was uncomfortably hot. I noticed staff members visibly sweating and looking very uncomfortable, and I genuinely felt bad for them. Customers can come and go quickly, but staff have to work full shifts in those conditions, and that really didn’t seem acceptable. I couldn’t see any effective fans or cooling in place.nnAlso, mobile reception throughout the store is also basically non-existent, which makes accessing e-scripts difficult at times.nMore prominent in-store Wi-Fi would really help.nnParking can be challenging, but the security guards are always helpful, and all staff, including the pharmacists, are lovely. I also appreciate that this is a spacious store with wide aisles. Overall, I hope the in-store temperature issue is addressed as a priority.
The range of products is great and the staff are incredibly helpful but I don't know how they can safely work there when the air conditioning is nonexistent during these hot summer months. Would be great for management to consider whether the temperature control in this store is safe for their staff and for customers alike and consider improving the AC.
I was looking for quick easy access as i am currently not mobile on crutches and drove out of my way to go to this location.nThere are only 8 spaces directly in front and if it's busy parking is tough.nToday I waited a few minutes for a spot, right at the entry.nFrom the moment I walked in everyone was amazing.nA young lady asked me if she could help as soon as I walked in.nThe pharmacist was so friendly and helpful and got a team member to help take purchases to the counter.nI was super stressed having to do this shop but everyone on the store that I encountered was absolutely helpful and happy to be so.nIt was refreshing to have this level of service.nThank you to the team at the Alexandria store
if they had negative 10 thats what they get REFUSE to honour seniors health card TRYING otver charge blaming me? And yet my other chemist charges the $7.70 FOR SAME BRAND CHEMIST WAREHOUSE WANTED $22.99 BEWARE THEY ARE NOT THE BEST PRICE they scam you, ASK YOUR OWN CHEMIST TO PRICE MATCH THEY ALWAYS WILL, mine has for years now and BETTER service, chemist warehouse is a HUGE company THAT cares NOTHING for people, ONLY their profits PLEASE support your local chemist they will support you in return.
