Great little suburban parkland / ovals nestled amongst dense bush land. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a picnic or a kick of the footy.nnChelsworth is maintained by the local private school as they use it as their sports ground, so it’s very well kept.nnJust beware that this is also the local off-leash dog area, so if you’re not a fan of dogs, suggest you stay away during early mornings and late afternoons.nnThere is plenty of free parking.nnThere is NO playground here.
Excellent park all year round. Well maintained. Grew up in area so am very familiar with its surrounding area.nWalking paths beside Yarra River leading from Chelsworth Park around to Wilson Reserve which has a good size children's playground with rustic park bench/table.nThe main park has sitting benches and is dog friendly but be advised, place your dog on a leash when walking along paths beside river in case of snakes.nToilet facilities at football pavilion. However noticed there is no wheelchair ramp or facilities available. There's another small playground overlooking a picturesque billabong near carpark at football oval.nOpposite the Park is Ivanhoe Golf Links.
Beautiful, massive, green park with sports fields, baseball, soccer, AFL and cricket both synthetic and real turf pitches. It's a doggy heaven, even has a bag dispenser for when your pooch does a Warney and drops one on a good length - as mine invariably does
Nice park with 4 soccer pitches and tennis court
Lovely place to take kids and dogs! Stacks of space for everyone, no hassles. The Yarra River is nearby, and you can walk or cycle along the trail.
