What a great beach discovery. Although we travelled an hour to get there, it was really worth the travel time. Very nice beach with beautiful sunsets. The only dissapointment is that the public bathrooms can do with an upgrade , or the users need to be show more respect to leave the places clean.
Chelsea Beach in Melbourne is just awesome. The water is so clear, and the sand is perfect. It's the perfect spot to chill out and forget about all your worries. Plus, there are some cool restaurants and cafes nearby, so you can enjoy a whole day at the beach followed by some good eats.
Our favourite easy access beach. The parking does close at 10pm with a boom gate, so you can't stay too late on warm Summer nights. Other than that, a great patch of Melbourne beach.
Chelsea Yacht Club is a great place to learn to sail, SUP or windsurf. Amazing social facilities upstairs as well, meals and great bar. The views never disappoint.
Arguably one of the best beaches in Melbourne! Toilets, parking, outside showers, good public amenities.
