Looks like my review got removed?n- poor station design for the elderlyn- poorly maintained elevators and areas of station, dirtyn- when it rains, water is everywhere and unsafe around stepsn- better than old station that's for sure but all this time on works where barely improves peak times but much better for road traffic
Very clean and safe CCTV station, though it had no visible Protective Service Guards present.
Chelsea station now has a clean, contemporary architectural space that replaced the dilapidated weatherboard sheds from 1907. Despite the trenched rail, it manages to have a more connected feel than neighbours Bonbeach and Edithvale, actually has toilet facilities, and the nearby pedestrian bridge over the trench is helpful. Pretty decent effort from LXRP.
As James has suggested this is a train station and yes you do catch trains from here.
Basic older style station with no staffing or toilets but close by. Gets you to and from Chelsea beach which is just a short stroll away and local shopping is just across either road. Bus interchange as well with the 902 beating the train if you want to go inland.
