Best place in Sydney to try beef fish. Delicious, freshly-defrosted parcels of yummy goodness! Fortunate to have been able to sing karaoke during dinner service and, importantly, meet the eponymous Chef Ding himself!
Best chinese restaurant in Sydney. All the seafood and veges is delicious and fresh. Its so yummy. Definately visit to have dinner again.
Staff could not speak English. 2 out of 3 meals were disgusting. No taste, bland food. They run out of Pepsi Max then Lemonade, then proceeded to give us rice at the end of our meal instead of with it. On top of that the food was expensive. The waitress did not know what Spring Rolls were when I asked if they made them. No soy sauce on tables, nothing. Worst restaurant I have ever been too. How they are still open is beyond me.
GROSS - I went here a few years ago and it was fantastic but that was then and this is now. I don't know what's happened but it has gone downhill big time. We went here on the weekend just gone before the footy. There were only a few people in the restaurant which should have been an indicator. Old plastic table cloths, chipped plates and glasses, all just really shabby. The menu had no entrees like spring rolls just mains. We ordered fried rice for 3 people and chicken with cashew nut - Price $47. . The rice was so salty it was inedible, we left after a few mouthfuls from fear of getting sick. I will never return.
Being coeliac, I asked for the gluten free options on the menu. I had eaten there twice before and was served appropriate dishes. This time I was told rudely by a waiter that there was nothing on the menu I could eat and intimated I should go elsewhere. He stated there was gluten in everything. We asked a second waiter, she spoke no English. A third waiter who spoke limited English said there were no foods gluten free, she said she would ask the chef but returned very quickly and said the chef said nothing gluten free. I excused myself from my friends and went over the pathway to a wonderful Spanish restaurant were the gluten free options were carefully explained by a charming lady with excellent English and I thoroughly enjoyed a Pork Chorizo Paella, cooked to perfection. The Difference!!! Previously, with the previous owners we had to wait on the stairs for a spare table, this time the restaurant was almost deserted. Previously, the food was good and there were gluten free options, this time as stated above, the meal was not as expected. No doubt other people have voted with their feet. If you are providing a service in an English speaking country then all workers must be fluent in English. Perhaps these staff were illegal workers, they can't have been students as you need to speak English to study in Australia. Or perhaps they were examples of the totally failed 457 visa system ripping off young Australians who are denied a job by a scheme designed to cover skill shortages. The conclusion: I advise everyone to skip this restaurant and I will notify border control of possible illegal workers.
Very disappointing! We went there with a group of 7 during lunch at the cricket. The service was slow, the food was delivered to our table by one of the kitchen hands wearing old & dirty clothes. There were boxes of tissues on the tables , instead of serviettes & half the restaurant, including the bathrooms, was in darkness. The food sat on the table while we waited for our rice to be delivered. The food was tough and bland and the taste had a sameness to every dish. And they ran out of beer after one round! We've been going there for lunch each year, under the old owners, but we'll be looking for a new lunch venue in 2018.
food is delicious with very reasonable price.
What a terrible experience. The place was dirty, tables sticky, napkins all over the floor. The staff had no care factor, that's if they spoke English at all...... they messed up our order, brought out the wrong food and left it sitting on the table. They took ages to bring out the right food except for one dish that they hadn't even started cooking yet, meanwhile our rice sat on the table going cold. Would not recommend even if it was the last place on Earth... I hope I don't die tonight....
Terrible, and I won't be going back! Where to start: 1 SLOW SERVICE. We had to repeatedly ask for menus, orders to be take and drinks to arrive. Staff acknowledged us, but we still had to keep asking...and the place had one a few tables full! 2 SLOW FOOD. We waited 30 mins for simple vegetarian fried-rice, and had to turn it into take-away, as our soccer game at Allianz started. 3 WRONG FOOD. I asked for braised fish, and got braised chicken, which was embarrassing. 4 FOOD QUALITY. The broth my seafood noodles were served with smelled and looked like urine. ...but they were quick to give us the bill when we asked for it. The tip we offered = $0.00! Awful place.
DONT DO IT! This place is a disgrace & they do not give two hoots. Most of the tables were exactly as people had left them, no attempt to clean them up. We sat there for more than 10 mins and didn't even get offered a drink, they were nothing short of hopeless. Thankfully didn't get as far as ordering, let alone eat the food. Oh, by the way, check out their multiple fines for poor hygiene standards in the food NSW website.......dine at your own peril
