Chatswood is one end of Sydney metro and connects to Sydney trains to different areas, city is most traveled destination though. This connecting station is well kept, clean and always have train staffs around to help. It also has toilets which are always clean, vending machines which good options. It’s absolutely next to Chatswood shopping centre, bus stop which makes it extremely convenient for the passengers. It’s one my most traveled stations and absolutely love it!!
World Class Train and Bus Station. Chatswood Interchange is modern, clean, well spaced and easy to navigate. Train Schedules are clearly marked on easy to read digital screens. A huge variety of shops that would normally be expected inside a quality shopping mall as it is multi leveled. From fast food to fine dining, from supermarkets to small shopping, from clothing to variety stores, there is a surprising range of high quality shops that is truly a nice experience.
Chatswood is a railway station located in the Sydney suburb of Chatswood. It is served by Sydney Trains services; the T1 North Shore & Western Line and the T9 Northern Line, and the Sydney Metro's North West Line. The station is the terminus for the metro line. The station consists of two island platforms – a city-bound platform and an outbound platform. The two centre platforms now serve as the terminus of the Sydney Metro Northwest line.
This is one of the best stations in Sydney, it has all the main restaurants here like KFC, McDonald’s, bread top and some more. It also has few boba shops which are chatime, share tea and Koomi. This is a great station and I love visiting it.
Busy station but with all amenities. Westfield mall is connected with station. Wonderful variety of restaurants.
Metro not working due to a technical issue. Buses replaced trains. All good. Well done to those sorting out the problem. Uber tried to "extort" passengers caught up in this - $150 for few kilometres... Supply and demand...
Stunning interchange. With world-class logistics in place alongside a fantastic set of stalls and restaurants, this is the place to go for bus, train and metro services.

I visit this station daily to catch a train to work. Always busy with a lot of connectivity and high frequency trains. Staff is very helpful. There are a lot of eateries closer by and a post office just beneath the station. On days you can find people performing in front of the station. Helpful Australia post office - exit station and take right. Washroom: on the ground floor / concourse Woolworths: right in front of station exit. Doctor: on 4th floor in the song complex right in front of station we have "Station Medical Clinic".
The Chatswood Station is a huge transit station, linking the northern part of Sydney to the city centre, and vice versa, with a few train and metro lines running through it, namely the T1 North Shore and Western, T9 Northern, and the Northwest Metro lines, while the interchanges between train and metro lines often happen quite quickly, with trains arriving and departing here rather punctually and regularly. Due to its importance in the area's public transport and its strategic location in the lively and diverse local area of Chatswood, it's easily accessible to several interest points near it, namely the Westfield Chatswood and a jubilant arrays of shops, especially the Asian, mainly Chinese, restaurants serving delicacies on an affordable price. The Station is full of life and busy with a huge passenger flow, apparently more so during peak hours. Despite the hush and rush, the facilities here continue to be well maintained and it's still quite clean in general. Its spacious interior also provides some room for movement, and the staffs stationed here are kind and friendly to help too. All in all, it's simply a decent stop for transit and travel alike.
