Excellent local RSL, right next to Chatswood train station. $15 evening dinner and drink specials are great, the best is the schnitzel that they serve on Thursday evenings, which is very large and delicious, and a tap beer, wine or soft drink comes included. The club itself has a Bistro, Malaysian Restaurant upstairs and a front bar that also serves coffee, cake and sweet food. Two gaming areas, one downstairs and the other upstairs that allows smoking. They also have a large TV in the front bar that plays for major sporting events. Service from the staff is very friendly and service times in the bistro for meals are generally very quick.

Good ambience. Drinks are very cheap. Big place. Lots on offer. Good variety of food n drinks. It has tab machines n smoking area too. Strongly recommend this place.

Staying overnight in Chatswood we enjoyed a meal at the RSL. As visitors to the club the reception staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. I still can't believe my Saturday night special meal was a scotch fillet steak that also included a schooner of my choice all for $15. It was delicious. My wife not so happy with her chicken parma which was rated 5/10. All in all good value dinner.

Its an RSL - the drinks are cheap, the service is fairly good and there are pool tables. Unfortunately most of the floorspace is taken up with pokies (pretty standard RSL fare really).

Terrible judgment of service, had a staff memeber very red eyed talking to his coworker how tired he was and making calls of judgement of me and my friend on the night determining drink of service. Extremely unprofessional and wish I caught his name as I was extremely embarrassed on getting served a coke instead of bourbon in front of other customers. It was in the upstairs bar if management reads this comment and on the same night this comment was posted. Shame on your staff as I was allowed in through the front doors and denied service of alcohol once addressing myself to the bar. 10/10 wouldn’t go here again if this staff memeber was present as once addresssed with the call of judgment he simply didn’t justify his actions and simply said I will just kick you out. Thanks Hornsby RSL for the compete misjudgement on all staff.
