Charters Towers Toyota

I phoned this business 150km west of charters towers in a pickle asking for axle studs for my landcruiser which had unfortunately snapped. They said they had four in stock. Once i arrived he handed me wheel studs which I said was incorrect, which he apologised. The guy i spoke to on the phone aggreed it was his mistake. As I was 2000km away from my home town and after travelling 150km @60kph he reached out to the workshop manager who looked at my landcruiser and straight out said "no too old for us around here dont carry parts" 8mm bolt by 1.25 thread. Every workshop has them. Very poor effort after driving 150km to this business after they told me they had what I needed. I proceeded to ask for some diff oil to get me to townsville and he said he could not do. I have managed a motorbike workshop that is bigger then this business and a mechanic myself for 5 years. they certainly had the two bolts I was after. No one cared. If your looking for repairs don't bother seeing them. If you are looking for a new vehicle look elsewhere, because once its 10 years old its a throw away to them apparetly. Always service the product you sell. It would have taken you 5 minutes to sort me out and I was happy to do the work myself elsewhere. Shame on you both!!

They have looked after our vehicle in every aspect... from warranty to washing car when serviced to full tank when purchased. Mantanance forman very knowledgeable. Cheers

Lots of history , the cattle sales are a must , without exception everyone is friendly and helpful. Lots to do and see - a great place to spend 4 or 5 days
