Date of visit : Monday 8th January Traveling from Canberra to Adelaide, I posted a query asking for recommendations on dining options in Narrandera. To my delight, someone suggested this venue, and I am beyond grateful that I decided to give it a try. From the moment I stepped inside, the staff exhibited exceptional customer service skills that made me feel truly valued as a guest. The patrons at the front bar welcomed me with warm smiles and genuine friendliness. Their hospitable nature immediately put me at ease and made me feel like a part of their community. I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Now, let's talk about the food. The steak I had here was an absolute delight for my taste buds. Cooked to perfection, every bite was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. It's safe to say that it was the best steak I've had in a long time, and that's saying something considering my love for a good steak! But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible service provided by the staff. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring I had a memorable dining experience. Their attention to detail and dedication to their craft truly shone through. To the entire team at this venue, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the amazing service you provided. You have definitely earned a loyal customer in me. As I intend on embarking on many more road trips this year i’ll be stopping by again. Had a good meal here a few nights before Xmas. Service was great and the food was good. Nice old pub too. Will come back.Food: 4/5

Too many flys outside. The chips were super salty. Our meals were ok. We won't rush back.Food: 3/5

Very expensive for two beers. Not very friendly staff when we arrived and locals talked loudly with 'not welcoming ' chatter. Beer garden was nice and relaxing sitting in the sun listening to good music. Could do with a revamp in main bar when you first walk in.

Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Wine was good and inexpensive. Service was friendly and efficient. Plates delivered to other tables appeared to have been enjoyed as well. We're so glad we dropped in. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian penne was delicious. It's ridiculously exciting to see a pub provide a vegetarian option and this was as good as could be had in other venues.

Since one or two recent reviews weren’t great I’d like to correct them. This is a decent pub. Service very good, food good, restaurant and garden pleasant, front bar area is the usual functional bar but fine. Staff all good. Steak I’d say was average, meaning ok, I’d eat it again. Thai salad was tasty and fresh. We enjoyed the evening - thank you.

The moment you walk into the restaurant you’re immediately met with beautiful decor and artwork. The wonderful people working here, don’t make you feel like a customer in a shop, they make you feel like you are in their family kitchen having a home cooked meal made with love.

Serving size was huge and the food was delicious! The staff were really friendly, exactly what you expect of a small country town pub!
