I was the only person waiting to be served and was completely ignored, one girl was texting on her phone. Once other customers arrived they all got served before me, I was made to feel like i didn't exist. So I left. Food here was amazing ages ago, and the staff were lovely, now it's just disappointing.
The sandwiches themselves are always spot on tasty. Food is always well presented and the service area is always clean. Pricing is a little high when you compare other available meals around. Can be on and off staff wise.
A lot of the times when I order here I will ask for example a roast pork roll and they don’t give you the chance to add on any salads and other items and so many times they just assume that you aren’t adding other ingredients and wrap it up it is quite frustrating
The friendliest service, delicious roasts and very generous servings. I’ll definitely be back. Keep up the great work.
The lady out the back who brings food out saying “hot dish” has a fantastic level of customer service. Made my food in record time and to the highest quality. I’ve never seen anyone work so fast & hard. 11/10 recommend. Never had a bad experience here.
The staff have always been polite and efficient. During the lunch rush hour all members remained polite and collaborative. Very professional, keep up the good work.
Incredibly high quality food at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend the roast lamb! I decided to get lunch at Charlie's because I wanted unprocessed fresh food and boy did get it!
Haven't been for awhile because the servers are bad, tried today and she put the peas, which they mix with corn and horrible tinned carrots, on-top of everything and then the mint jelly goes all over everything, time to try other places.
This is the go to place for lunch or coffee! Great range of sandwiches, fast efficient service, all fresh as a daisy! Have been patronising them for many years, never been disappointed! Also have an extensive range including wraps, fresh tantalising roasts chicken, turkey, pork, lamb and beef fresh vegetables and salads, the list goes on! Credit to all the hard working cheerful staff!
Okay Charlie from Charlie’s bar, I don’t mind paying a fair price for a fair product let’s get that straight, but $.80 extra for four slivers of red onion seems a little excessive do you think, and a further $.80 for a quarter piece of Swiss cheese and another $.80 for an end Tong full of lettuce and another $.80 for four slices of thin cucumber and another $.80 for five small pieces of sweet pickle and another $.80 for the very thin small piece of ham and another $.80 for the three thin slivers of tomato and another $.80 for normal pickled onion slices again ultra-thin. In total roll costing $12.75 or something close to that, I reckon that’s just going a little bit too far Charlie. Not to mention my wife was offered avocado on a sandwich instead of butter but wasn’t told it was going to be another dollar 50 for that lucky I asked as I said no don’t worry about it we’ll have no avocado but the very annoyed employee had already swiped it over the sandwich and had to throw it away, what a waste, she could’ve said look I’ll give it for you For a buck but remember for next time it cost $1.50 for a thin swipe of avocado for goodness sake. Pretty sure we all understand it cost money to run a business, but having a nasty employee huffing and puffing when we are asking for pricing for each single element we are applying to a role I think maybe they need to find a different line of employment. Here’s an idea for your Charlie, up on your price and product board, how about saying every additional item will cost you $.80 each. maybe even list a ham salad roll with the following will cost you X same with a chicken roll or turkey roll, clearly stating that any additional extra is $.80, however I suggest with the extras you put on a reasonable amount I just don’t see the value of $.80 in for slivers of red onion. “2 lost patrons” Apart from that the role was yummy
