It was a great experience especially for my husband as it was his first Korean barbecue ever. We will never forget the taste and the accommodating staff. You guys made our holiday extra special. It was worth it!
Wonderful customer service and food was awesome! There was a confusion on the reservation but they solved it quickly and accommodated us. My husband and I were very happy with our experience in Yuniku. We absolute loved it! Thank you for kind service and wonderful food.
High-end looking place, with definitely higher-end prices. The interior definitely does not disappoint and creates a great opportunities for instagram pictures. The meals are, as I mentioned in the beginning on a more pricey side of the spectrum, but understandable given the quality of the ingredients. The cooked food was a bit underwhelming for my taste, as you could expect, when it comes to the cuts, the taste varied, though since your cooking skills are put a test, you may be a bit responsible for the end result. The most disappointing meal was probably the dessert, the matcha ice-cream tasted rather artificial and the variation of Crème brûlée was rather tasteless. The only real issue I had was the staff. Unfortunately, given the overall ambiance of the place and the way they seem to want to position the place, the staff was surprisingly very underwhelming. Though friendly, welcoming and kind, not really knowledgeable about the food, considering the price of the meat cuts, I would expect them to be able to explain from what part of the cow the meat comes from, or how it tastes. Other than that, we had to wait 20 minutes to receive the menu, dine on a dirty table, since no one bothered to clean after the appetisers, and the mains, and finding different ways of how to get their attention. Something I would like to point out is the wardrobe for coats, even though we left our coats there, they still smelled like grilled meat when we got them back.
It’s a relatively good restaurant if you want to eat bbq with charcoal fire. The meat quality is good but not that good as the Japanese restaurant Ah-un. The beef tongue slices were a little thin. But the karaage chicken was very juicy and authentic. There were three types of sauce, the korean soy paste, sweet soy sauce and a spicy sauce. The sweet soy sauce with sesame was the best. In conclusion, this restaurant is delicious but considering its price, it doesn’t have the best price/performance Ratio.
Prague, our korean food week, part 1. First time this week at "Yuniko", since the other restaurant we selected was closed. We love this place, the food is exceptionell and the staff very accommodating. Starter: Kimchi pan cakes Main: Bibimbap and Bulgogi While the Bibimbap was just great, the Bulgogi was exceptionell, a really wonderful flavour. In our week, this place ranked #1of5. Prices are above average for non barbecue dishes and expensive for barbecue. --...-- Prague, our korean food week, part four. Second time at "Yuniko" this week. We love this place, the food is exceptionell and the staff very accommodating. This time it was time for the famous korean barbecue. What shall I say, perfect. Delicious selection of meat, modern table grill equipment, flavorous side dishes and all in a stylish ambiente. We skipped any starter and ordered a mixed set of beef for dinner, called: Gangnam beef variations, pork, duck and octupus. In our food week, this place ranked #1of5. Only downside, korean barbecue here is expensive.
Outstanding experience for Korean BBQ in Prague Yuniku is a Korean restaurant in Prague 2, just a few steps behind Namesti Miru. The place is my reference for Korean BBQ, not only in the city but in general. Not only it is a great restaurant in terms of food quality, but also a nice and fun place where to spend a different dinner with friends no more then 6 though since tables cannot be moved if you want barbecue. The place: the restaurant is beautifully decorated. It has two rooms, one right at the entrance after the stairs and one in the back. I find the back room more pleasant. In between the two dining areas there is the open kitchen which is always a touch I appreciate. It gives the opportunity to see how they cook and work, but also to have a contact with the chefs. Unlike other Korean BBQ that use basic smoke extractors, Yuniku uses upscale systems that looks beautiful and contribute to the overall design of the place. It is for sure on the upscale side. The service: service is not always consistent. We had times we encounter amazing friendly service and times service was a bit colder. But we always got a high level of professionalism. The food: all the food in the menu is very good. I would call it a good authentic experience considering the Korean restaurants I have been to and including a few stays in Korea. The place is specialised in BBQ and the meat is from very good to spectacular. Marinated pork neck and belly are really flavourful and the beef is really good and tender with the right marbling. I personally don’t like the fish that much which is why I always ask to substitute the fish with more pork. Shared the Seoul plate selection this time and it was amazing. Remember to ask for scissors to cut your meat. For some odd reason they don’t bring them automatically. The BBQ is made with real charcoal with is quite rare at least in Europe. France and Germany I believe don’t have it for safety fire regulation. The only other European country I found real charcoal has been in Spain Barcelona in an amazing Japanese BBQ place. As much as the meat can be good, cooking it on real charcoal really makes a huge difference and it’s an experience that is worth having. The price: to be honest the price is not on the cheap side. But considering the environment and the quality of the food it is perfectly fair. For half of the 650g meat plate, appetiser mandu and non alcoholic drink I spent around 55/60 euro which is more then acceptable for the experience. Overall the restaurant is for me a reference when it comes to Korean BBQ. I love the place, the vibe, the atmosphere. And the food is outstanding. The kind of place that I look forward to visit again and again every time I have the occasion.
Best yakiniku place in Prague. I go there often and never been disappointed. I love their bbq sweet sauce soooo much.
We went there for sushi so i can't review the grilled meat.. Starters were perfect and everything was delicious. Great place in Prague 2. Prices are bit higher.. Nice interior
Very very delicious! ! The meat is very fresh, but the price is a bit expensive, but it is really delicious, and the service attitude is also very good
Authentic Korean food There are many set menus for you to choose from. Suitable for family gatherings or gatherings with friends. Asian-style atmosphere.
