What a gem! I love Thai food and have dined in various Thai restaurants, but the dishes we had here were totally unique and blew our minds! They were all delicious and beautifully presented. The taste, atmosphere, and service were all 5/5. It is so rare to find a restaurant that offers both outstanding meals and service, and I’m glad that I found one. We will definitely be back!
Last night at Chalong, we were enchanted by the Thai and Southeast Asian cuisine. Friendly staff greeted us warmly and guided us to our table. The menu offered an array of tempting dishes and drinks, and our orders were taken promptly. We savoured Betal Leaf and Hatyai Bites as starters, followed by a delicious main course including Duck Fried Rice and Southern Thai Fish Yellow Curry. For dessert, we indulged in Black Sticky Rice and a Crispy Golden Bao Bun. A Lemongrass and Ginger tea wrapped up our delightful dining experience. Highly recommend Chalong for vibrant flavours!
I had another fantastic visit to Chalong last night! The southern Thai yellow curry and crispy chicken with cashew nuts were perfectly cooked, and the homemade coconut ice cream was a delightful end to my meal. The owner, Nail, and all the lovely staff were incredibly sweet, humble, and professional. I highly recommend this wonderful spot to everyone. 10/10!
Was nice to eat Thai a little different to the usual suburban flair. I was expecting something a little more different, however the food was very nice. This place knows its market well and delivers for that. The night we went it was booked out full of locals. The deep fried market fish was good as was the slow cooked beef cheek curry. The chicken skewer entire was a little underwhelming. Service was excellent.
Was really excited to try this place for Mother’s Day and was more than impressed with our time there. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the dinner and the food was wonderfully delicious; the yellow curry and crispy pork belly with Thai noodles were my favourite. Altogether with a beautiful modern interior, I’ll definitely be coming again for another meal!
