Story

Chalambar Golf Club is situated 2 km west of Ararat at the foot of One Tree Hill in a peaceful rural setting. Ararat is located 200 kms from Melbourne on the Western Highway and a short 40 minute drive from the Grampians National Park. With accomodation nearby it is perfect for one round or a weekend getaway.
Visitors are always welcome to test their skills on this challenging Par 70 layout. The course has fully watered couch fairways with superb grass greens and presents in excellent condition throughout the year. Very affordable green fees and motorised golf carts are available for hire.

I ordered a chicken schnitzel when I cut into it, it was quite pink. I sent it back for the waitress to come back over and say the chef temperature checks everything, and they were happy with it. It was pink! Raw! I still got charged full price for it all. Very disappointing.
Excellent, very friendly and beautiful course. Love the kangaroos roaming around.
Wait staff needs to be trained on what dishes need specific cutlery i.e. steak knifes...

Great place for a meal, nice big kids corner, good variety of meals to choose from! All very tasty... Only surprises was chilli in the slaw with the sticky pork and the stuffed chicken breast was a leg? Still very nice though!
We had a very pleasant time here on our way home from Navarre, had a nice coffee and played the gaming machines, before completing our journey home. Well worth a visit while in Ararat.
Good meal. Giant chicken schnitzel. No rowdy music. Good atmosphere. Good for young Families.
