Story

Cenzo’s started as a literal local hole in the wall coffee shop back in late 2010. We have been helping our customers start their day with a delicious coffee and a savoury treat such as banana breads, slices, and raisin toast. Since then we have evolved into the new Cenzo’s Cafe + Bar You will still find us on Lumley Street in Upper Mt Gravatt just a short walk from where we used to be. We still remain the perfect setting for you to enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat except we now have much more variety with our expanded menu. We will now be opening late on Friday and Saturday nights, offering an assortment of drinks for your enjoyment. We will still do take away coffees and meals to, but unfortunately can’t give you your late night drinks in takeaway form. Order in store or just text/call through your order and we will have it ready for you to pick up!

Coffee here is Merlo, which is made & presented well. I had the corn fritters for breakfast very generous serving of four crispy fritters with an egg & salsa. There's lots of pet friendly tables on the street. Service here is a star turn, very friendly & attentive.  Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available  Parking: Plenty of parking on street right outside

Amazing service, super friendly staff! The coffee tastes great, the chips are fresh and crunchy, and the eggs Benny I got was absolutely covered in sauce which I love Would definitely come here again! I love that there is outside seating too, perfect for a good day.

Great coffee. Flat white was made perfect. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and I was able to work from the cafe in the morning. Lots of local foot traffic. Had two takeaway toasted ham and cheese croissants that were also good.

I really want to love this place but the first and last two times we’ve been there they have forgotten about our meals and quality today was terrible. Despite waiting 45 mins the first time, and our order going missing, today we waited again over 40 mins for a breakfast wrap+ poached eggs on toast. There were just two of us and the large table next to us ordered 15 mins after but received their meals first. We had to be somewhere and ended up asking to take away, which they did, but my poached eggs were inedible and hard boiled - sadly disappointed :-

I enjoyed a scrumptious potato rosti eggs benny with salmon, while my daughter and 6 year old grandson loved their bacon and egg breakfast muffins. Served with soya and almond lattes and a babyccino, we were very satisfied. No photos yet but I will update this next time, which I hope to be very soon.  Staff were helpful and welcoming with quick professional service. I cant wait to check it out for cocktails! #lovethevibe

Pet friendly Cafe with lots of undercover seating outside. Service was great with friendly and helpful staff. I would have given 5 stars for food but thought the poached eggs were slightly overcooked. My friends were happy with their meals.Food: 4/5

Walk in, no greeting or acknowledgement, had to approach staff for a menu or to point me where could I get one. Order breakfast coffee’s and a coke. No got offered a glass of ice with it and got served the coffee in take away cups while other guests had normal cups. More waste for the environment. Breakfast arrived and another disappointment $19 for a small portion of savoury mince on top of a toast and 1 egg is pretty up there. Flavour was there that is what give 2 stars. Saw the rating but it seems that is not good as use to be by what I had experienced today.

Amazing breakfast. After a Sunday morning walk we stopped at Cenzo's for coffee and breakfast. So so good. Food amazing, coffee great and staff wonderful. I really enjoyed the whole experience. I'll definitely be dining here more often now. For lunch and dinner as well, for the atmosphere alone. Which seemed thank's mainly to the owners, Vince and Annie and their welcoming personalities. Thank you and see you soon.  I came back for lunch yesterday and had the absolute best burger I've ever eaten. Southern fried chicken burger. Unbelievable flavor. We stayed most of the afternoon enjoying a couple of beers. Great atmosphere and freindly staff. Thank you for the second time.

Many thanks to Vince & his wonderful staff who hosted the celebration of the life of our beautiful girl who passed away on Christmas Eve. She was a coffee lover & Cenzo’s was one of her favourite places. Cenzo’s was the perfect venue with excellent food & such lovely friendly staff. All of our guests had nothing but praise for our hosts Thanks so much Vince
