Story

Centre State drilling is an Australian family owned and operated business, servicing the Central Victorian region for over 30 years.
Utilising our water divining skills we are confidently able to offer a "No water- No Charge" guarantee for our clients. Having over 30 years waterboring experience in Central Victoria we are familiar with most areas geology and hydrogeology.
Centre State Drilling uses only Australian made and certified lead free bore casing. This is a little more expensive than the cheaper Chinese and Indian imported casing many drillers nowadays seem to use, however Australian made casing is a far superior and safer product. We take pride in using Australian made products in all aspects of our business where possible, after all Australian industry is about job security for all Australians, something we all need to support.
Commencing with an obligation free site inspection, Dan McMahon will carry out some water divining to locate the best bore location and make recommendations as to what to expect. A written detailed quote and a bore construction licence is provided to the client. Bore construction licences for stock and domestic bores are a one off fee with no ongoing fees or charges, they generally take ten working days to be approved.
After drilling the bore, Dan will liase with the pump installer to select the appropriate bore pump for your application.
Centre State Drilling works closely with two highly reputable pump installers, Ken White of Whites Electric Motor Service in Kilmore and Darren Tolley of Tolleys Electric Pumps in Harcourt. We highly recommend booth these Pump specialists as we have, over many years, found them both to be highly professional and working to very high standards.
Stock and Domestic bores are charged at the rate of $150 per Mt (add gst) whilst Irrigation Bores start at $200 per mt (add gst).
