Come here often! There are playgrounds, skate parks and a huge oval. Many great areas for sporting and for a walk around here. Parking is alright and the only access here is either from Springvale Road or Waverley Road. This reserve is underrated and everyone should come here.
A pretty neat park in the neighbourhood. Facilities are suited for younger kids with a skate park across the other side for older kids. I like how it has 3 slides and 3 swings so don't have to queue too long for them. Lacking of shades, so remember to bring a hat in summer.
There is nothing here, unless you come for sport, not fun to have a walk
A playground, a small skate park and two ovals — if you’re looking for any of these facilities, you’ve found a place! If you’re not looking for any of these facilities, then you’re in the wrong place. Not a lot to see but ample parking and some nice spots to sit. Probably a nice place to go for a picnic! Everything seems well maintained as far as I can tell.
Nice ground, plently of car parking and great 'up to date' facilities i.e. toilet's/change rooms.
Great place for a family picnic Lovely grounds and play equipment. The toilets are too remote and not very clean I dont allow our family to use them, so that is a pity.
Signboards need to be clearer to help visitors with parking. The car parking entrance from the Springvale Rd side is very limited, resulting in overparking and parking illegally when there is a function. There should be signboard to advise visitors of alternative carparks, and that there are two other entrances from the Waverley Rd side. For newcomers like me, it would have been helpful to specify whether a function is to be held -Springvale Rd side or the Waverley Rd side. After all the trouble of finding it, it is a nice park. It has a playground on the Springvale Rd side. The Waverley side has a community centre which is very use! Table tennis for over 55 is held here on Tuesdays and Wednesdays amongst others. The oval is in the middle. There is a very popular lawn bowling club next to the community centre. Lots of parking in there! Hope it helps
Nice reserve off the main road. There's a skate park, oval and playground fenced. Sufficient parking spaces. The playground is more appropriate for toddler-aged children although there's a climbing pyramid for the older kids.
Basically only good for sports, Skatepark is a joke, the designers and build team must have been drunk during construction. Transitions are wrong, layout is wrong and the surface in general is terrible. The oval is well kept, good for a kick of the footy or a game of cricket. Wouldn't bother taking the dog there, not stimulating or interesting for a dog at all. No public toilets. Parking is good. Children's playground is good.
Fun for kids here. It is a modern style playground with the main feature being a 5 metre high rope bound dome shaped climbing frame. The park also has 2 football/cricket ground, skateboard park and a hidden little known grass athletics track down the back behind the main cricket oval stadium which is good for athletics training. This large park also features a small world war 2 war memorial for those wishing to pay their respects for our lost soldiers
