nStopped in for lunch and it was excellent. The food was great, but what really stood out was the staff — they genuinely wanted to be there and it showed. Friendly, happy and engaged, which makes a huge difference to the whole experience. We’ll be back. @OBM1770
1st time ive been here. Absolutely awesome lunch, had the meat lovers topping on my parmi, chicken was cooked spot on, was still juicy and crunchy, except for the chips as the parmi was on top of them so the steam was sorta softened them. The portion was also large. Pretty sure it was a whole chicken breast cut flat into a schnitzel. But the only downside to my meal was the size of the gravy, it could have been near double the size. Always best to have a bit too much than not enough. But all in all absolutely awesome lunch. Service was good, good atmosphere aswell.nnBut please hear me out. I had the Melbourne Dim Sim. Please. I need to know the ingredients in that sauce as it was absolutely brilliant, nothing like i have ever tasted. Especially from a pub. I need it in my life. I would love to drizzle this over my noodles at home haha. Cheers
Had lunch at central lane today for my birthday, haven't been Here in 15 years or more, all I can say is was the best pub meal I've had in Gladstone in years absolutely beautiful.nMy wife had the seafood boil, just amazing.nHighly recommended, spotlessly clean and very well mannered staff.nnThankyou, truely appreciate
I ordered the pork ribs. They were terrible and very burnt. After I complained and sent the meal back. I got awesome customer service from the waiting staff and the owner. They offered me a refund on the dish or a full rack to replace my half the half rack I ordered. I chose the full rack because I love ribs. They were very apologetic and embarrassed about what had happened. Veryy nice people and good customer service, however, this didn't translate in the kitchen. When I got my replacement meal I only got half a rack of ribs with the ends of the bones cut off so it was very difficult to eat also my coleslaw was soggy this time, which it wasn't the first time my daughter and I were enjoying the coleslaw. Very disappointed. I think their chef is very arrogant and has trouble accepting that he makes mistakes.
What a find this place was. Visiting Gladstone for 1 night and we chose well. Rump and crumb steak were beautiful and the calamari was the best to date. Service could not be better and everyone was so pleasant. Will definitely will visit again.
