Convenient station right in the heart of Brisbane. I used Central Station for both arrival and departure, taking the AirTrain from Brisbane Airport — smooth connection. The station is well-signposted, with multiple entrances, lifts, and clear platform access. Staff were friendly, and trains were clean and on time. Great location near shops and city landmarks, perfect for first-time visitors.
The only station lies in Brisbane CBD, but its proximity to Queen Street Mall, restaurants, and lots of office buildings makes everyone’s life easier.nThere is a McDonald’s inside the station and you can also go to the International airport or Gold Coast via airtrain from here.nBesides, the staffs are also very nice when I ask them if there’s concierge service.nYes, they will take you to scan a Sofitel QR code for that and after paying and booking online with the card, you take your luggage to Sofitel via escalators, head to the concierge reception in the lobby.nI store 2 bags for 3 hours for $21 in total, including the service fee and the guarantee.
Busy station however staff are very helpful. Like how there are little bits or sections of history as you walk around.
I lost my suitcase on the train in the afternoon of May 13 at Brisbane Central Station, and a tall blonde lady working at the ticket office helped me find it. She had a beautiful smile and was incredibly kind and friendly. My English isn’t very good, but she patiently listened to me using a translator app and made every effort to understand and assist. Other staff members also joined in to help, and I’m very grateful to all of them. Their warm attitude and genuine kindness truly touched me and made my day. Thank you all so much!
