Sydney central station is literally a mobility hub where you can get all modes of rail services like trains, light rail and metro trains. If you just come out of the station there are plenty of buses also available to different destinations. The information kiosk is really helpful to clarify doubts, rest rooms, waiting areas, refreshments are well maintained. Currency/ cash is not accepted in any of the transportation systems in Sydney
Useful transport hub with links to metro trains, country trains, trams, buses and taxis. Homeless also converge around Central Station. Watch out for petty crime around Eddy Avenue esp at night.
Central Station is a major hub for Sydney’s transport system, and it certainly gets the job done. It’s generally easy to navigate, with plenty of signs to guide you around. The trains are frequent, and the location is very convenient for accessing different parts of the city. However, the station can feel a bit crowded and hectic, especially during peak hours, which can be overwhelming. The station itself is in need of some modern upgrades in certain areas, and the cleanliness can be hit or miss. Overall, it’s a reliable and central spot for travel, but a little improvement in the amenities and atmosphere would go a long way.
This is the main railway station in Sydney.all trains starts from here.very clean place .
Make sure u have a hour between trains as they leave early and u will be stuck for 4 hours. Place is dirty a if u need a lift good luck for platform 25. If u feel unsafe u know ur at central. This place looks better than it did 10years ago but has the same issues. Annoyed and watching drinks fight till my next train in 4 hours
