nWhat a state of the art achievement! Sydney Central Station is one of the most advanced Train Stations in Sydney. There's a new elevator there that goes down to the underground concourse, so it can be easier to get to the underground concourse. You have 4 transport options to choose from, light rail, heavy rail, bus, or metro. Despite being one of the largest in Sydney, your train usually gets to the station in a short time.nI recommend you stop at this station while on the train if you are heading from Southern Sydney to Western Sydney or explore the area of the station for Google Maps contributions.
This is the Sydney Central station that connects all train lines in Sydney. Subways, metros and long distance regional trains start from here. A well planned transport hub. Spacious to handle large crowd at peak hours. Informative and visible signages help commuters to navigate easily. I am so satisfied about the public transport system in Sydney.
If you compare this station now with several years back, this one now is definitely much more contemporary and modern. Everything looks brand new, although some platforms still look old as before.
Sydney central station is literally a mobility hub where you can get all modes of rail services like trains, light rail and metro trains. If you just come out of the station there are plenty of buses also available to different destinations. The information kiosk is really helpful to clarify doubts, rest rooms, waiting areas, refreshments are well maintained. Currency/ cash is not accepted in any of the transportation systems in Sydney
Central station should renovated their toilet as well. Despite all the renovations , their toilet still like 3rd world countries toilet. Dirty and outdated, embarrassing to hear tourists ' comments on this 5 stars train station equipped with 1 star toilets.
