Sydney central station is literally a mobility hub where you can get all modes of rail services like trains, light rail and metro trains. If you just come out of the station there are plenty of buses also available to different destinations. The information kiosk is really helpful to clarify doubts, rest rooms, waiting areas, refreshments are well maintained. Currency/ cash is not accepted in any of the transportation systems in Sydney
Useful transport hub with links to metro trains, country trains, trams, buses and taxis. Homeless also converge around Central Station. Watch out for petty crime around Eddy Avenue esp at night.
The station has been recently reinnovated and looks structured and magnificient
This needs further upgrade to make it world class station.nThe management also should look into the issue of missing connection at platform. Example: the train from Parramatta to North Sydney stopped, door opens and the moment passengers disembarked, the guard of city circle closed the door. Making all interchanging passengers miss the train. Additional facilities are also needed to be installed/added like drinking water fountain and toilets.
Nothing to saynTrain Replacement every weekend, lnAnd most expensive public transport charges in Australia
