Location: Tucked behind Central's grand concourse on Eddy Avenue. Transfers are not penalised. This light rail line lets you go to Dulwich Hill via Pyrmont & Lilyfield.nnServices: Quite frequent during peak hours ~7 minutes but less frequent at other times ~12 minutes. Light rail are clean and fairly comfortable.
About a week ago I went to the Transport Customer Service Counter to obtain a Senior Opal card. System was easy & staff who was serving me was brilliant. As they have already issued a senior’s card & I was in Melbourne, some how the card got lost & not reached!! So the staff advised me where to call, what to say & to get my existing card cancelled. Then he helped me to get the new card. He was such a gentlemen. With a great smile, with lots of patience & kindness. I went home happily ever after by getting my Senior Opal Card.nI hope I got that wonderful, helpful staff’s name correctly. “CLAYTON”nHe is the gentleman in those 2 photos.nThanking you so much “ CLAYTON” for your awesome, epic customer service.nThere are very few staff who looks after customers & treat the customers as the customers are Paramount.nThanking younAnoman
Classic Edwardian building full of Charm but a touch of Modern Architecture. Time hasn't Stood Still The Magnificent Building is coming into this Century.nnArrived here via the Light Rail. The train station has a fair amount of history and contains multiple platforms. There are a number of eateries inside the terminal and a lovely memorial to the railway staff who fell during the Great War. It is rather pleasing how clean the station is.
Love the design of the station. Multiple entrance, very clean, very modern. Very easy to go around city from this station.
Catching regional train here Sydney to Melbourne. Train depart from Central Station Grand Concourse. The concourse is at the same level as city train, so no hassle of using elevator or lift if you are carrying heavy luggage. Can buy coffee, store luggage or buy power banks or earphone in vending machine. Could check-in your luggage optional. Heaviest bag to check-in not more than 20 kg. If you have heavier luggage they allow you to get the luggage on your own to the train
