Excellent hole-in-the-wall kebab joint. Got a lamb HSP for lunch and it was fabulous. The serving size was generous, the lamb meat was moist and flavourful, the garlic sauce was punchy and creamy, the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Definitely a worthwhile quick feed option, not to mention service was faster than your average maccas.
IT WAS THE BEST HSP, right now the quality is poor, I’ve been client of them since 5 years ago. However, today the HSP is different It is horrible, ugly, cold even eating in the same place. Idk if the owner is another person.
I've been coming to this place like 2-3 per week for the past 6 months it's USUALLY very good but i only get food during daytime in week days and the guy who works during that time just makes horrible food honestly. The photo im uploading came from today's order and it's not even a HSP soggy fries and chopped up chicken from next door, this is the 5th time from SAME guy my food is bad other times they're really good.
Was looking for a good place to get some from what I know "YIROS" as what we call in Adelaide, but here they call it HSP. LET ME TELL YOU, THIS IS A SIGN GO TRY IT! the staffs are amazing and the guy made it so good that I regretted buying a small As I literally finished gobbling it for like 5 mins Lol I should have gotten a large one! Will def come back!
Consumed: Mixed HSP Drank: Water TDT: 4.0/5.0 Location: This little place is a good location on one of Melbourne’s main thoroughfares. And let’s be honest. Kebabs and HSPs are great drunk food. Something to consume to help you sober up. And this location is near the intersection of quite a few pubs. I could see this place being really busy. Even though there isn’t much room on the outside and on the street, it’s service was so quick, that you could definitely do a quick order and pick up and be on your merry way. Food: Touted as the best HSP in Melbourne and by the guy who loves his HSP – the Zam Slam, I had to go check it out. And what can I say? I absolutely loved it! It was that good. Had the mixed meat with chips. I chose not to have the cheese this time. And went with the hot sauce. Good lawd it was amazing and delicious all rolled into one. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. Furthermore, the chips were crunchy on the outside yet warm and fluffy on the inside and seasoned with what reminded me of chicken salt and paprika. So far, I would say this is the best HSP I have had to date. As with all HSPs do not expect it to be the most healthy of meals. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try, right? Everything in moderation! TDT: 2.0/2.0 Cost: At $12, I found this to be the most reasonable priced HSP meal to date. Even with the extra cheese, it still came in at $12. And I could not even complete the meal. HSP in it’s normal size, still remain one of those things that I cannot finish in one sitting. TDT: 1.0/1.0 Ambiance: I didn’t get a chance to sit there, and to be honest, I wouldn’t recommend you do that either. Being on the side of the road, this place allows you to do a quick stop, get your food and go on your own way. Do you want to sit on the side of the road? No. At any time of the day or night – I would hazard a no. They could have offered it, and I think there was one dining set with 2 chairs. Yeah, probably not. TDT: 0.0/1.0 Service: The service was good, fast and prompt. It was everything I could expect from a the small shop. TDT: 1.0/1.0 TDT: 4.0/5.0
I've been there a year ago and cannot forget the HSP I had here. This time I visit Melbourne, CBD kebabs is in my must-do list. The HSP didn't change much - good taste and great amount of meat & chips. The cheaper price doesn't bring it a lower level foods. The service is great and I add all extras & sauces without pay over $12 the first time I had it didn't try this time as it's a bit strong for me lol. Will be there again my next trip to Melbourne.
The best HSP in town. I tried the Mix Hsp with Mayo, sweet chilli & garlic sauce. The chicken was of premium quality & the quantity was also great in $13 pricing.
Had twice now, gross rip off. Do not recommend. Gozleme was like a rubber disk. Kebabs scabby as.
Rude and full of attitude for no reason. The guy at the counter seems like he was doing me a favour. Like cmmon be nice and smile atleast.
