Useless staff for a useless bank. Don't bother with commonwealth they are honestly as useless as one could possibly get. Melissa and all the other staff I have dealt with in this branch are extremely incompetent and cannot do even the simplest of tasks. Unable to even listen to a request and dumb enough to do the exact opposite of what was asked of them. "Don't delete the everyday account or credit card. Delete everything else. I only want my everyday account and credit card to remain. The ones named with delete, delete them" not so smart old lady Melissa proceeds to delete the WRONG accounts. Mind you they were legitimately named "NEW BANK. DELETE THIS ACCOUNT" but apparently that is too hard of a task. Some useless new concierge can't even tell clients the correct information and make you wait for no solution as they can't do it in store. Call the support line that is NOT 24x7 as per Google.. and get even more incompetent staff who make you wait on hold without having the respect or care to let you know that there are no staff actually at work yet or have left for the day. Minimum wait no matter when and what you ring in regards have fun waiting a minimum of half an hour and 9 times out of 10 no solution. Get a fraud payment stolen from your account? Goodluck getting that back.. they couldn't give a sh*t. Unlike other banks in store can't help and over the phone tell you to wait 45+ days to try get it back. An app that is always having errors or issues.. And a d*mbass robot that can't understand something as easy as "Speak with a human" for a request. I can go on and on about this worthless bank and staff but really just don't waste your time, go for any other bank, they are all soo much better and won't cause you cr*p like commonwealth.
Could do with more tellers in peak times, and not very clean inside. Melinda is great, always get great customer service from her.
Wanted to make appointment with Lender, unavailable on holidays, she suggested someone ring us as we have questions, cannot ring after 3pm, she was not sure about times it was just too hard will take our business elsewhere. Mind you loan approved just had some questions!
Not happy at all, I dealt with a lady named Marlene to do a personal loan and she was absolutely all over the place, my assumption would be that she has dementia, not to sound rude but that's the truth.. she had no care for the fact that I was dealing with a big commitment, she just took everything as it was just another task, not helpful at all, she entered the wrong information countless times, she printed out my contract, then shredded it, then tried to blame me, my friend and my grandmother by saying " what did I do with it, who took it!?" She was very abrupt and even a lady my grandmother who has had experience in this field was very disgusted... once again not happy
As a loyal cba and account holder for last 60+years I am disappointed that the Commonwealth bank is still financing the fossil fuels industry and possibly the Adani mine. This mine has the potential to destroy the Great Barrier Reef and the 70,000 jobs that it creates
Not a great branch. Staff are egotistical.
Not very helpful or not very nice staff had very hard time with this bank after my husband passed away
When I call over the phone I usually don't get answered, but when I do they can usually help me out
